Considering that getting a card irl gets you the card online (at least when it was up) I truly wonder why this game failed. It had such good ideas going for it , with a tv series to boot.

Negative Legend Yeah, 4kids got greedy, and tried to freeze out Chaotic's creator from any and all profits. The resulting legal battle is what killed Chaotic. Thankfully, 4kids got shafted in their attempts.

ironically the " Maxor, protector of perim" is actually from the forged unity set, and is used on the secrets of the lost city even though usually they would use box art from cards of that series.

I remember buying the Underworld Starter, and the special foil I got was Chaor. I was so excited. Then, maybe a couple weeks later, I opened up a pack and pulled a second Chaor. I legimately thought that the cards were super common and was really sad.
