Based on Psalm 25:9 - Meekness is someone who is teachable, someone willing to learn & submit to Jehovah's ways and rely on Him with appreciation. What's interesting about our English word "humble" it comes from Latin root word "humus" = ground or soil. To me it relates to Adam coming from the ground. Humus isn't just dirt its dark rich earth filled with nutrients. A humble person is someone God can work with and grow them into a beautiful human being, someone He would want to inhabit His beautiful earth.

Early church fathers attest to Matthew being written in Hebrew. Manuscripts from Cochin/Karala India and also Catalan {Spain} seem to suggest the same, with the rest of the NT having original Hebrew sources. This is an important cultural thing, thang..........I have always been firmly convinced that all the NT documents were written first in Hebrew, and were penned prior to 70AD (none of the NT writers mention the fall of the Temple in 70CE, which Yeshua "predicted". If that Temple came down during the time that any of those NT writers wrote, they would have surely mentioned it, it would have vindicated Yeshua as at least, a prophet). Research folks. Amazing stuff coming out. KEEP READING! Truth being born out by the manuscripts now surfacing.

Valerie, I see it too. Disturbing. Yehovah's Way is that everything is done decently and in order. That protocol is too lacking here. We can pray and voice reproof. II Tim 3: 16.

It is the trust set up by Yehovah where the beneficiaries are the ancient Kingdom of Israel and HaAretz is the inheritance. The vast majority of people have lived and died knowing nothing of their Creator, and only the devil would then judge their eternal status. Moshe was the mediator of the old covenant.
