I'm a lifelong Clairton resident (since 1971), although our town isn't doing all that well, it's home to me and where I'm comfortable, happy to find your video! 😎

take me back down memory lane . I Love this video. Born and Raised in C Town. I used to run around the streets having crazy fun back in the 70s and 80s. I grew up on Shaw Ave across from Mr. Browns store then i moved to Blair nom.💯💯💯

I grew up on Park Ave. My grandmother belonged to Mt.Olive. City died when the mill died.

That’s awesome I grew up on Chamber street and Mt.Olive is my family’s church as well. They need to tear down that meal and put waterfront shopping stores and restaurants down there like they did over in Munhall, Pennsylvania by Homestead.

@tre57production I left Clairton in 1982 for college and didn't go back. My grandfather was a councilman for years in Clairton (Jacques (shack) Moragne). His wife passed and he moved to Florida with my family.

There used to be a corner store near my neighborhood called Skips. That's where my friends and I would go to get candy for a penny. I loved that store. I miss those days.

My family and I moved out of Clairton soon after they built the new Clairton high school. I was in the ninth grade when I first started at the new school building. They put all grades into that one school. We had start going to the new school in the middle of the school year 1987.

At the beginning of the video when you hung a left at Johnny's bar, if you would have hung a right that's where my grandma, Ruth Curley, and step grandpop, Duane Curley, lived on Constitution Circle. She died in 92 and I haven't been to Clairton since. My grandad, Michael Mrvosh Jr., was born at Blair Station in 1913 and lived there until my great grandad, Michael Mrvosh, built a house on Halcomb Ave. around 1920. My great grandad owned a store across from the mill. My grandad graduated from Clairton High in 1931. My dad, Michel E. Mrvosh, graduated from Clairton High in 57 and lived in Clairton until I was born in 1970. I never lived in Clairton but I would always come and visit my grandma in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. I hate to see Clairton run down. You would think it would be maintained better since the mill is still running.
