I tried to recreate the OG Sims 1 neighbourhood a few years back. One valuable lesson is Double Walls & Floors. Windows and doors do turn into tunnels, though. This video got me in the mood for trying again. Maybe I'll even post it in a certain Discord that's mentioned at least 10 times in every video of yours.
