The food war story reminds me of my grandmother and her neighbor across the street. They both built their homes in the late 1980s and the food war began around Christmas of 1990. They constantly tried to out-food the other. Said food war went on for twenty-eight years and only ended because my grandmother passed away in 2018.

Across the street is an appt building. The neighbor on the bottom right (directly across from my bedroom) always keeps the blinds in that room open. It's a storage room from what u can see, but the reason the blinds are open is his cat is almost always watching the birds. Such a large, fluffy cat. I love that they let kitty look out and the neighborhood can enjoy the cute kitty. It will meow hello as you walk by too.

Getting back at that neighbor that slashed tires. Wait until your neighbor cleans his/her car and you'll need this type of acid (can't think of it's name off the top of my head but it's used for pool tiles) apply a coat to all windows at night by the morning all the windows will be permanently white fog won't be able to see out of them and can't be fixed without replacing them. Neighbors will think it was whatever they used to clean the car and most insurance companies won't cover it.

My college roommates and I got tired of hearing constant, very hard and loud thumping at all hours coming from the apartment above us. It was all over the apartment, and would often quickly go from one end of the apartment to the other, as if the guys in the unit above us were running around their apartment. One of my roommates said she was pretty sure one of them had a very active sex life because she’d hear loud, rhythmic thumping directly above her bed literally every single night. That roommate and I finally decided we were gonna go up there confront them one weekday night when they were being particularly loud. We go upstairs and the four dudes who live in the unit above us, along with three or four of their friends/frat bros, are mingling in the apartment, as well as outside the wide open door in the hall. Loudly talking and yelling and laughing. Every one of them has a beer in hand, and leaning against the wall inside the apartment facing the door was four or five skateboards. So my roommate and I approach them them and explain the situation to them and politely ask them if they can please keep it down at least on weeknights, and it turns out they’ve been skateboarding and rollerblading around the apartment, and since alcohol was often involved, they would also often fall. And the rhythmic thumping my roommate thought was sex? The guy in bedroom above hers was in a band and it was him practicing his drumset. They were much more reasonable after that though, so there’s that.

My "neighbor from hell" barely counts, after listening to this. I'll take that as a win. Third floor studio, where my sliding glass door to my balcony and large window faced his narrow/tall kitchen window. He came over to introduce himself. Okay, not sure why. Oh, he's lonely? Yeah, okay, I'll talk with you for a bit. It took no less than an hour, every time he came over, to get him to go away. I'd come home from work and want to sit for a few minutes before bed. If I turned on my lights, he'd come over, and wouldn't stop knocking until I answered. I finally bought some tiny little Christmas lights to put in a vase for minimal lighting that wouldn't leak enough to tell him I was home. I was so, so glad when he moved out! I also wasn't the only woman there he did this to.

The story about the kid who poisoned op's cat is upsettingly relatable. A few years ago my brother had gotten as puppy who was a Labrador of some sort. He was super energetic but very sweet. Sadly he bit a kid that was teasing him and few months later we came home to find my brothers dog dying in the playpin. He was perfectly healthy and we left him outside to play for 30 minutes, but when we came back he couldn't move and died about 20 minutes later. He was only 3 years old. It sucks even more because our neighbor has an assortment of animals that rotate on his property that have killed our animals or plants.

Speaking of car related noise violations, and I don't think this counts as one since it happens in a public area near a high traffic road, but sometimes in the morning at school when we're waiting for the busses to dismiss (school's version of letting them unload themselves of students) there were at least one car that would randomly and loudly rev its engine. And occasionally there would be two cars on the road that would honk at each other for who knows what reason. Can't really understand why they do that :-/ On in unrelated note about the cigarette-butt-Pepsi, why? Just why?...

Oh my god, my neighbors (we live in a somewhat small, dirt road neighborhood) have a large assortment of different animals at all times like some sort of farm. They have chickens, they have a donkey, at one point I saw sheep and rams wandering around and two emus in a fenced off area. I still have no idea what it’s all about but I know that damn rooster they have will crow loudly no matter what time of day it is. I probably can’t complain much though because we have about a dozen stray cats living under our house (it’s raised off the ground) and man, they just keep multiplying no matter how many get fixed.

As a child, our dogs were out in areas in the back while we cleaned the area closer to teh house to place them in. Our neighbor behind us hated the fact the dogs were barking and being dogs. He tried poisoning our dogs, but instead got our cats. He'd been complaining about our dogs since he moved in, so we knew it was him. Some threats were made, and he moved out soon after. (The threats were if he tried to poison our animals again, we'd call the cops for trespassing, because there wasn't any way he could get to any of our animals without entering our property.) The worst part? His son came over to my house and we played with my cats and dogs. He was sad when some of the cats died. Which he most likely won't ever know his father killed.

We deduced that she must've been covering her cheating ass. Take some pushpins or whatever the needles with the ball on the end is called and crawl under the car far enough to access wires. Stick the pin in the side of one and out the side of another before trimming the excess off with small wire cutters pepper the hell out of any group of wires you can grab Do it close to grommets or ties holding them and at the connection to the sensors lights etc. Or if it is too tedious then cut off every wire you can. Wear gloves be sure if they use an alarm. Mix fast curing epoxy and fill the door cracks and around the handles and tape from bottom up and fill in stages. Shit in a bag for a week and then stuff it into the gap at the bottom of the windshield where the wipers are. Take a little acrylic paint and splotch some bird droppings on the windshield. You just slash their tires and just bring it up later how your tires were slashed and when they say theirs was too most likely extremely angrily just act surprised and just say some asshole much be randomly slashing tires

The sugar and gas thing IS NOT true. Angry ex did this to my moms car. My mom left the house, went up the street, turned the corner and made it to a street light before the car stopped. Just STOPPED.....nothing extra. The mechanic is the one who told us about the sugar. If we hadnt started the car then it would have been fine, but since we did, it circulated thru the car and destroyed the engine. It cost $3000 to replace the engine. It couldnt be salvaged. My ex put marbles in after the sugar to weigh it down 😂😂 the mechanic said that they usually use marbles or a candy bar or something because the sugar wont mix on its on or some shit. Idk 🤷🏾😂

Can somebody tell me how the shutdown.exe in startup folder will turn out? Will PC just shut down as soon as you log into a user account? How can you possibly ever remove it again? And why are my startup folders empty, when there's clearly several programs launched on startup, as can be seen in task managers startup segment? I have hidden elements shown activated. Thank you in advance.

The startup folder is what runs when you log into your computer. Basically if you want a program you always use to start when you log in, it will if it is placed there. My speculation is that as soon as the person logs into their computer, it would start shutting down. It could be reversed but would probably be a pain in the ass to do so
