1:59 Heck, I work in Chicago, and they need speed cameras ALL over. People in Illinois drive recklessly for no apparent reason. Don't get me to start on how those nuts drive on Interstate 94. They need every state trooper available to direct traffic. I am aggressively looking for new employment back home in Wisconsin.

the speeders already have their plates obscured or no plates at all! All they do is take there plate off and put up a fake piece of paper in the back window!

Actually there’s a spray made by Rustoleum they use on the plates that blurs the cameras view. Home Depot on purpose stopped selling it in Chicago.

You want to discourage speeding, fix the road design. People will drive as fast as they feel comfortable. Building a road that comfortable for driving 50 MPH & putting up a 30 MPH speed limit sign won’t slow down drivers.

Funnily enough, they actually did that in the South Side. They essentially moved the parking spots away from the curbs and into the space where they would normally be able to cut you off and speed away. Making the lane smaller to avoid cutting off and speeding. Issue is, I often see parked cars with their bumpers smashed or people going into the opposite lane to cut people off and speed. Some people that want to do what they want will still try or find a way lol

BS, tell that to a the people scammed out of hundreds of dollars with the short 1.5 to 2 seconds yellow lights and ended up getting tickets for going thru acted light. If you think the city won't lie about going six over you're kidding yourself. It's run by lying democrats.

I use to hate the speed cameras before Covid but since Covid ended people drive like complete A holes......So we have to control reckless driving somehow.

Drive the speed limit, driving in Chicago is just awful everyone what's to speed and sit on your bumper at lights. I hope they set up more because the speeding needs to stop.

If you really want to make a difference, put more cameras where the reckless driving is truly out of control: Auburn-Gresham, Pullman, Garfield Park ..

They're angry because they can't speed. In the Southside they drive like maniacs or like they're in a video game, it's wild some of the stunts I've seen. And people get pissed when you drive the speed limit and expect you to speed like they're going to pay for your tickets even though there's signs that say "photo enforced"
