Vickers machines are amazing but extremely expensive. They are 4 wheel drive and capable of doing most hills in FL but also the wet soggy yard areas next to the pond. This had no trouble and didn't even need dually wheels. They can cut down all the brush with ease. A new one is ~$30K or more. They have all kinds of attachments for the front too like grinding stumps. That was one heck of a sponsor!

There are a few KZbinrs who do similar work that are UK based, there's one I follow called flawless cleaning services who started off with mainly pressure washing etc but now also does gardens (he's just helped a lovely older man called Norman with his very over grown property) and does it for free too worth a look at 😊 (he's based in south east England)

I think that you are really motivated and kudos for that!!!!!!! Safety gear is an imperative on any landscaping job, but this one really needed it. Eye protection in the event that a yellow jacket (ground dwellers) nest is disturbed or poison ivy/oak is encountered: nothing more horrible than getting poison ivy or poison oak in the eyes or lungs. High leather boots with pant legs tucked in to protect against ANY snake bites. Work gloves to protect hands from everything else. Good luck young man!

That was a nice start, in cleaning up the entrance. First Impression becomes that it is neat. Sounds like this is a good project to help the community, an extension of your work on difficult places. Like that you have access to a Ventrac. They seem extra good in damp and overgrown areas. The change in view is impressive at 30:29. Beyond making things neat, clearing the fence is quite a shift. The Ventrac was certainly in its element mowing the wetland area. As you hoped, the water area view became more visible. There I was thinking the Ventrac won't be attracting an alligator like you said a Trimmer can...and then you hear an alligator nearby...(not necessarily moving away). Enjoyed your touch-up decisions as you wound down your work. It is tremendously improved and seeing the paving restored would be nice. That "frozen" property might unfreeze and become useful again. Thanks for the extras of taking vines off the building and showing us the grasshopper and herons!

im only giving him a 50% here , he makes more work for himself when he cuts the lawn then goes back to do the edges and fencing and then back to clean as he would normally do. when i was doing the same job we would do the perimeter and obstacles trim trees /bushes then cut the grass and mulch in the previous mess . he is doing it for youtube though so efficient and better for video fight each other i bet. i dont think i would have cut this one without OWNERS CONSENT to be on property and the neighbours consent is not enough lol .

I know this is a weird viewpoint. But sometimes I feel sorry for all the plants being killed. I think the wire fence looked better with the plants on it. Maybe they could have been neatened up a bit, but that wire fence was so ugly, and to me all the beautiful green leaves look better. It's called a ' Ventrac'. It's crazy expensive though. Used various attachments at the front. He was using a bush hog attachment in this video. Machine is very capable with a decent operator such as him. I've used it before as well great to use even though it wouldn't have been my first choice.

I only wish that the company that owns the property would reward you for doing what they should have done instead of just buying up property and not caring about their neighbors and neighborhood. Yeah they could at least sponsor his video as payment or something. Companies who buy property and leave it in disrepair like this knowing the danger that gators or other dangerous wildlife can pose to neighborhoods should lose the property to the city due to safety hazard. It's maddening to see something like this in such awful state but know that unless a good Samaritan like Al mows it or someone is hurt and it makes the news, that nothing will be done.

Al, I am absolutely elated you got a Ventrac! That machine made short work of this Serengeti yard. It was the perfect scenario in order to put the Ventrac through its paces. It proved itself well. The fence clean-up was incredible, but the entire property itself was a Herculean task. That being said, all that brush, and undergrowth removal was completed in a day! Thank you for the footage of those cranes! They were so majestic, and taking advantage of the spoils left by the Ventrac. In closing, I say YES to a clean-up of the driveway, and other concrete surfaces, please. This session was worth the wait. Thank you for being you, Al! Without your generosity, the world would be doomed to become a bastion of greed, and narcissism. Enjoy your Independence Day, you're a great citizen, and you deserve all that freedom affords you.

Ikr poor thing 😔😮‍💨🥺I felt so bad for him and I'm sure that he's super exhausted for having to complete such a big of a job all by himself with no offered help, but it's okay we have him we are all his biggest fans and supporters, but agreed I feel at least someone should have offered him a hot meal or something cool to drink for all of his hard work and efforts to clean up that horrendous yard with all of those bushes and over tall grass. 😯🫢😒
