THIS YARD WAS A NIGHTMARE!!! so the story behind it is...
i knocked on this random door, NO ONE ANSWERED... The Nieghbor called me over and talked to me about the situation going on with the homeowner and why the grass was so out of control. @@kathyhummel1573Wow, I pray your okay. Sometimes the pain hits later, death rarely ever makes me react, especially when I love the person, its almost like it didn't happen or my brain rejects the idea, but the moment my guard is down, or I have a second of weakness, it hits me hard. I lost seven people in the last three years, and many before , but my closet friends all passed recently from ODs , I got my life together and started a family, God blessed me to find a way out and the strength to take it, but they didn't follow, and trust me I tried , I would always check on them, help them with food or clothes , whatever I could, while still keeping enough distance to not fall back into what I was trying to get them out of. Sadly one by one they died, and I showed almost nothing, just kept going, my wife thought it was me being strong or some type of mental fortitude, it wasn't, it was lack of accepting what happened at all, like I'd still see them walking down the road or get the random messages checking in or wanting to grab a bite together, and one day I was having a rough day, and something clicked , they were gone, not just one, but my entire team erased, and no one cared , that hit hard, I was and am eternally grateful for what I have and not being gone to, but it made me question everything and I felt alone in away I have no words to describe. Now as I sit here, looking at my wife and kids, I am even more hurt for you, I'd shatter if I lost her. Yes , we keep going, we keep going for them, but it's nit that easy.

Me too. I can understand how demotivated loss can make a person, let alone after 42 years. True blessing that you are doing this. Consider having them sign WAIVERS for a free makeover!! Especially when removing shrubs on their roof. NO good deed goes unpunished and people now and days, may blame you for even the smallest of water leaks, caused by plants that they let grown in, and allowed them roots to penetrate certain spots. In removing them, they could blame you; I have been blamed for less. True blessing that you are doing this. I am sure some are getting much needed help. I also cannot help, but to think that especially with an able modied male at the house; there is no excuse for them to leave their yards to become this bad; this takes years of neglect. Good stuff man, gentleman is probably going through depression. Let's pray for him. You gave him hope that counts for a lot.

From Winnipeg, Canada: I sure love watching these yard transformations. I especially like to watch you do those fences. My sister's yard and my yard could sure use the kind of help you offer. She is 79 and I am 74 and we are disabled due to health issues. Our yards are very small but we have no yard maintenance equipment whatsoever except rakes, a spade shovel, and hand saws. In my yard I have an invasive weed plant which grows so fast over most of my front lawn area. We have grass in our postage stamp front yards and mud in our slightly larger back yards where we park our cars. My back yard is a sunken mud yard which has overgrown hedge trees all along the side. We both do not have family who can do this for us. So sad for us because in my younger days, I had no problem taking care of my yard myself!

@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist Dude, I respect you believe in a Greater Power (I do too), but Jesus Christ the Messiah (peace be upon him) never claimed he was God, but called on people to worship The One Creator God. It was Saul of Tarsus (also known as ''Saint Paul'' who brought in paganism from the Roman Empire and ''made'' him be accepted as god). Paul never met Jesus in his life and was in fact out to kill him and he was one of the enemies of the believers of Jesus. He changed The Law, ended circumcision, preached to Gentiles etc. Anyways I have more about it if you are interested. By the way the word ''christ'' comes from the Greek word christos, meaning chosen, the word ''messiah'' comes from the Hebrew word messiach, again menaing chosen. Who chose him? God did, and God is the one deserving of worship and prayer not any man or any creature. By the way Jesus Christ the Messiah, peace be upon him didn't speak Greek or Hebrew, he spoke Aramaic. Anyways, know your Creator and worship only your Creator without equals and partners and there God is One and Unique. Best wishes.
