This is a testament to just how quickly properties can become overgrown and overrun with opportunistic plants in the Southeast! Alex to the rescue to pull it back from the brink and set things right! It looks beautiful now and I'm sure the homeowner would be over the moon with how it looks! The neighbor was excited, I know. And I know his daughter will be amazed and appreciative when she sees it next. I checked Google maps and it looks like she's about 5 hours away, so who knows when that might be? As always, your work is so meticulous thorough that you leave it looking like the owner just finished his lawn and went in for lemonade to cool off! Hope you didn't do any damage to your knee or ankle! 🌿💚🌿

All if that takes time under the best of circumstances and if heirs disagree about who the executor is or how things will be handled, it's a mess. Before the paperwork has been issued naming the executor (letters testamentary), any monies spent would come from somebody's pocket in hopes of reimbursement from the estate. Or even if an executor has been assigned, it's possible the estate has no liquid assets to cover expenses such as lawn care. And family members might not be in a position to assume those costs along with others. There are a lot of reasons for this situation to arise that don't include simple negligence in the part of an heir.

If that man has lived there for 59 years, he shouldn't be having to mow neighbor's lawns at his age after they die. Especially in this heat. Especially if there's a daughter who lives relatively nearby who should be taking care of this. He IS keeping an eye out - courteous and respectable behavior. I think that's as much as you can expect.
