Idk if this is the same everywhere, but I’ve had multiple friends go through cosmetology school, and usually if they give you some sort of service, even if you go up to the beauty school, it’s free. Because the client understands they’re taking a risk by having a student perform the service - which is why usually they bring up family members/friends to practice on etc. So to me it seems doubly ridiculous that the boyfriend would expect to be paid for the awful haircut he gave her 🙄

Tell me how the English teacher part hit so hard. I just dropped my English class bc he didn’t wanna help me out when I have literal Covid, a doctors note, etc. My last semester I had the freespirit English teacher and man she was great. Okay so I think Christian was on to something with his chauffeur idea. However, I think that instead of a regular bus it should be an electric vehicle like a Tesla but since we don’t want to take any jobs from anyone you should figure out a way to control the vehicle from anywhere. So the driver would just be driving it from a computer kind of like a video game. The good thing about this is that it could provide people with more stay at home jobs and it would be way more safer than public transportation or even taxis/Ubers because there’s a lot of creepy people out there.

The story about the guy who chopped off all of his girlfriend's hair unevenly is definitely going for the wrong profession. He'd get in trouble/fired for chopping off a paying customer's hair the way he did the girlfriend's. When your customer asks you for a shoulder length haircut, you're supposed to follow through with that. They aren't giving you absolutely free rein. Also, I can't help but think he'd have benefitted from practicing haircutting on Barbie dolls.

taco bell has made some interesting business choices the past couple years. and by interesting I mean annoying.. they stopped selling the potato grilles that I mainly ate but sell a potato soft taco.. which is basically the grillers minus the lettuce, plus some nacho cheese. it's so annoying. (idk how to edit YT comments since I rarely make them lol) but surprisingly, libraries require a lot of degrees for certain positions. which sucks cos I've been wanting to work in one for a while but I do not have the means to get a degree. they might've been a page if there were no degree required since that's mostly putting books away. either way, fuck that rude lady. libraries are so great and inclusive; i love seeing alternative people working in spaces that normally have a 'stuffy, professional' appearance reputation. it's so fun. plus appearances don't affect quality of work and I'm glad some businesses are starting to tear down that stereotype.

Love the pod.... but I work in videography and this episode is killing me. Josh's camera needs to be on his other side so hes looking toward the right of the screen, not the left. All three of them should not be looking to the left, just Rick and Christian, Josh should be looking to the right. Camera needs to be set on his right in order to correct perspective of them facing each other. Circlejurdge should be circle :)
