Beautiful nostalgic song, which is very good as September is a month of transition from summer to autumn or fall. For many of us summer's gone and shall never return. The only thing we have left are the memories, and some of the things we still have of those days.
@goonerbeau2 жыл бұрын
"September Morn" is about a couple who have come back together after a break in their relationship. It's an emotional moment, as Diamond sings about recalling the feeling when they danced until morning - a feeling he still gets on certain September mornings. They've grown apart, but not so far that they can't remember the good times - or so he hopes.

My parents took me to his concert when I was 7 years old. He was wearing this outfit, only difference was he also had a white scarf that I believe he tossed into the crowd. Even at 7 years old, this dude look like a God to me! I was in awe, and when Sweet Caroline came on, many people seated next to me and my parents danced with me in the aisles. A few years back, he did a final tour, which just happened to come to the same venue my parents took me to in the eighties. I bought tickets for all three of us, and we had the time of our lives. Thank you mom and dad, and thank you Neil! Damn this outfit hes wearing in this brings back great memories. Screw you 2020! I still have the memories of Neil! Is it any coincidence that Neil does his final tour, and then the world just went downhill from there? Hell no, the world would be so much worse if he never existed at all. Again, Thank you Neil!

This song brings back memories of a wonderful night being in New York. Walking through its streets until dawn, hand in hand with my boyfriend. Standing in all the shop Windows and hugging me, asking which of all the dresses I wanted to have...And so the hours passed away until dawn came! It was a magical, wonderful September night that I will never forget even though He is no longer with me. Walking, dancing living the life without thinking about yesterday, only in the present. Wonderful September, like SEPTEMBER MORNING. Thanks Neil Diamond!
