I love, love this song. After my husband died. I met a gentleman that I dated. Actually, we took a trip to New Orleans the first week in September. What an awesome time it was then. My parents took me to his concert when I was 7 years old. He was wearing this outfit, only difference was he also had a white scarf that I believe he tossed into the crowd. Even at 7 years old, this dude look like a God to me! I was in awe, and when Sweet Caroline came on, many people seated next to me and my parents danced with me in the aisles. A few years back, he did a final tour, which just happened to come to the same venue my parents took me to in the eighties. I bought tickets for all three of us, and we had the time of our lives. Thank you mom and dad, and thank you Neil! Damn this outfit hes wearing in this brings back great memories. Screw you 2020! I still have the memories of Neil! Is it any coincidence that Neil does his final tour, and then the world just went downhill from there? Hell no, the world would be so much worse if he never existed at all. Again, Thank you Neil!

I first listened to this on 8 track in the 70s. My uncle would drive us around in his party van and we sang this out loud at the top of our lungs.
