One of the coolest aspects of Neil Peart's approach to creating a drum part for a song is that he was always trying not to repeat the same grooves and fills throughout a tune.
In this lesson I use Rush's song "Subdivisions" as an example of that approach, showing 4 different 7/8 grooves that are played in each verse of the song.
