As a qpr fan been going over 25 years he is easily the best player ive ever seen in a qpr shirt. Forget all the bad points for that 1 season alone when he took us up and scored 19 he was amazing. Joe allen must still be hurting haha

Late reply, but, as a boro fan ive always seen warnock as a long ball manager although since we’ve had him at the club, I love him. Hes such a great character and so transparent which may upset some people but when hes at your club you really know what you are getting which is class. I think he mainly focuses on just giving players confidence then any real attacking style of play so isnt favoured and if you don’t know his personality, you may take his comments a bit too serious.

i think its cos he's so experienced and has probably managed against every club in english league football at some point. he wasn't afraid to use "shithouse" tactics to get an advantage if you know what i mean and so sticks in a lot of fan's memories for the wrong reasons a lot, just think about infamous games like Sheff Utd v West Brom that had to be abandoned cos he had players fake injuries. i'm a Notts County fan though so i've gotta like him

All these years in Benfica and every season he barely is capable of being a top 15 midfielder in the Portuguese League, on loan he only was getting worse, and now nobody want to pay for him at all. The current fee for him is sandwiches and juices for the academy kids, so if english clubs really have him in such high regard, go for him.
