Zuma was one of the first Neil albums I bought and it's still my favorite. I got the Archives II box for a good price so I have the Dume CD. I made a playlist of the Old Homestead and Dume discs and every track is a classic. It would have made a killer 2 CD set.

Love Zuma. I've played the Archives version of Dume. Need to pick this one up on vinyl. I remember liking some of the other discs on Archives just as much as this one. Like The Old Homestead. Release them, and yes, eventually I will buy.

You've got to get the vinyl copy. It's cut from the analog master tapes and you now how good Neil's AAA albums sound.

I bought the vinyl and I was looking for the CD but couldn't find it. Now I know why. I didn't buy those archive boxes due to duplication and triplication. *SIGH* Ol' Neil really knows how to put his hand in your pocket now doesn't he? How much else am I missing by not shelling out big bucks for those CD box sets?

Archives II is pretty much essential, I'd say. TONS of great stuff. It seems to be better sequenced than the first Archives box. There is still some duplication, but not in such a distracting way. I was a little underwhelmed with Archives I and didn't buy it (mostly because so much already released material), but I love Archives II.

Stephenrostkoski837 basically said it. Archives II is worth getting if you are a Neil fan. There are so many gems in there that you simply can't get anywhere else. Yes, it is kind of infuriating how he duplicates some of the things in these boxes that were already released as standalone and then charges you for a big set, but there is also so much worth having here. I usually just buy the new Archives releases on vinyl, and then when he puts out the box sets, that's my way of getting them on CD. That's how I justify it to myself, anyway.

Well, I cracked and ordered Vol. II last night for $100 (36% off) from Amazon since $10 per disc seemed quite reasonable. Not so sure about getting Vol.I though - I've passed on it several times before.@@amitytracks

Neil should have included Pocahontas on Zuma.

Probably so. This electric version is so great. But like I said, we might not have gotten Rust Never Sleeps later as we know it, and that is one of my all time favorite albums.

Dont know about the cd but the engineering on the vinyl does not do it for me.
