When the original LP was released, it had that same cloth-like finish to it. I still have mine in my collection. That BBC concert DVD is excellent! I bought that as a stand-alone several years ago. The BBC almost always does a great job, and there is a similar concert by Gordon Lightfoot that you can get, done in the late 60's, that features his original two backing musicians, John Stockfish and Red Shea.

Neil Young is AMAZING. I just got 1987's "Life" on vinyl. I believe it's his worst selling album to date, but I've always liked it. I love the really weird stuff he put out in the 80's minus that swing album. 😳 But yeah Harvest was one of the first ones I got when I started collecting vinyl again. Nice Review Brendon. Enjoy your channel. You and Anthony together are Great 👍🏻 👌

Have you checked your BBC DVD? The audio is really distorted, which is a real bummer. I have heard NY and Reprise are working on a fix but this is going to be hard to rectify/exchange.

…so you’re not a fan of new music from your favorite artists like Neil Young and Bob Dylan? IDK, I couldn’t only listen to classic albums knowing my favorite artists are alive, well and making new music. While nothing may live up to the classic albums at the height of their careers, I’d still rather get new music. It’s how you feel about getting an archival release. You want more of what you love. I love the artist and want more of what they do and love to grow with them over time.

Great album Paul, you should be able to find it at a decent price on Amazon or second hand. Discogs and eBay are good for second hand CDs to buy online 👍🏻

THIS is not the same Album and does not have the same feel as the day it came out ! All five CDs don't add up to the One Vinyl record in the sleeve. The times were WAY different and the people didn't hate each other like they do today !! This was a BREAKTHROUGH album for Neil AND his fans !! And as much as Neil would like this to sound like vinyl, a CD is giving half of the performance. Try the album and you can get Close to the 1970's VIBE !! Great review, Buddy !

I completely disagree about the comments of CD vs. Vinyl. But then if you know my channel you’d expect that.

This shouldn’t of been 3 audio discs. All the audio could of fit on one disc and put a 30 second gap between the album, the outtakes and live show. Other than that, the package is outstanding and worth any price.
