The most fascinating aspect of the human race is that the human heart can generate hate, crime, war, and a multitude of other nefarious things. And then it can generate things like this, songs about life and love. We are odd beings. I thank the Universe for giving us a man like Neil Young who came at the right time. Peace and love to all who read this.
@SFJonesy4 жыл бұрын
Thanks, jeddyhi for mentioning that. But it is only when something gets in the way of the heart that the human race generates things like those vile expressions. When the heart is open, it expresses only life and love. At least, that's the way I see it. Thanks.

In 1970, after returning from Vietnam, I married my high school sweetheart! At the time we could only afford a very simple wedding and spend one night at Motel 6. To celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary we booked a Caribbean cruise. Unbeknown to us, our four children surprise us with a honeymoon package. After the Capt. renews our vows we dance the night away with Neil Young and Harvest Moon. To say that we had the time of our life for 6 beautiful romantic nights is the understatement of the century!

I'm reading this in Sept. 2024 after watching Neil Young's outstanding video performance of Harvest Moon on the Tonight Show again. Your words still ring true today for sure. Btw, this was in 1993 basically before the internet came to be along with its pros and cons. Or as you say "BS nonsense of today's world". Coincidence that it's all been downhill since then?

Tacoma Paul, the other song performed on that evening is "Unknown Legend", which is on my playlist for Neil.... Yes, Neil is an avid fan of train sets. It only makes sense that he'd want his son, and any other child who had the same condition, to be able to enjoy the thrills such a hobby would give.... Mr. Young has made a difference in this world, for those he knows, and those he's never met, and the world is richer for it ;)Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
