certainly one of the most talented musicians to live in the last 100 years. Timeless lyrics and melody. He will be rediscovered many more times to come.

What it feels like to have what you love, take you away from all you love. “ I’m out on the interstate, I can hear a soft voice calling me, to bring my guitar home”. That smile that always greets me. Home, one more time. Enjoyed for what a great gift one more time is, between the parentheses of life.

I don't know why - this song, especially the keyboard version is my favorite winter song. A sunny, cloudy morning winter song. yes, I'm drunk 😅 but just a little..

I first heard this song first time from radio a few years back when driving. The song started a little while before I had parked the car. I couldn't leave my car until I had listened it and it became instantly one of my favorite songs. The lyrics touched me in a special way.

I am just hearing this song for the first time.....and I thought I had heard just about everything Neil has ever done. I am just totally blown away. I understand the not being able to leave your car until you had listened to it. I am like that with every song of his, and I listen to him every day! Peace.

Man, how can some musicians can make huge crap... When you see how this song is simple, full of feeling, full of sense... I just want to throw this song to all the fake artists controlled by big corporations and are here just to make money and not music... (It sounds pretty hippie when I say it) It takes artists like Neil Young to just touch you right in the heart and just enjoy simplycity... Thanks to JohnVon Neumann to post this piece of art...

@JimSVoit Жыл бұрын
@ryansettani388 - This is a live version from 1985 with The International Harvesters. There's another version recorded during the "Ragged Glory" sessions in 1990 that was released 6 years later as a bonus track on "Broken Arrow" (the LP version) plus the CD-single for "Big Time"

One of the very finest Neil songs. For depression, this is better than therapy, better than a Marx Bros movie. I can only compare it with something like Beethoven's adagio in the 5th Piano Concerto. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5PVc4Sth9KXaKs Maybe. Does anyone else see that, or am I too weird?
