Good job Tim. Im glad to see someone show the guitar parts from a rhythm guitar view. I do a solo thing of mostly classic rock because im OLD lol. I will be following you frtom now on. Anything with the lifting a finger from a chord to get that added tone is appreciated. Peace----Hippie Bob

@@TechlogicProductions I’ll try to be more active 🙂 my wife and bandmates are often telling me I should do more NY videos. I’m (obviously) a huge fan of his, and would have loved some help years ago learning all his great songs, so it’s nice to lend a hand to other guitarists when I can.

That guitar is awesome. Warmoth?

MrWilly2204 its a parts build sourced from a few places, but not Warmoth. The body is from Tone Bomb and I found the neck on eBay

Tell me about the guitar. Did you build it yourself?
@TimAllardMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Yes, I assembled it from parts I got from various online shops. The body was made by ToneBomb in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and is pine. The neck is from someone on ebay. It's super flamey maple, with a rosewood board, and block inlays, as you can see. The neck pickup is Gibson P90 with a chrome cover, and the bridge Firebird pickup is actually just from guitar fetish, and it's surprisingly great sounding. I love Neil Young, and always wanted a Neil Young guitar, but I never bonded with a Les Paul. Telecasters always feel right at home for me, so this is my Neil Young Les Paul Telecaster. I didn't add a Bigsby because I've never liked one on a Telecaster before, even though I love Bigsbys in general hahaha. Thanks for the comment and question!

Neil Young plays like Hendrix, No doubt about it when you listen to his heavy electrified stuff. Basically grungy Hendrix... I usually don't like to compare artists like that since they are different people who play they're own music, but this is one of those rare exceptions.
