Everyone just take a few minutes to think about all the songs Neil has created over the many years. Make a list in your head. Look at a list of his top 100 songs. It's prolific. There are so, so many great, and diverse, tunes. Some day he will be recognized as the greatest songwriter in rock history. Yep, even higher than that guy Bob who hasn't produced nearly as many good songs as ma boy Neil.
@artvallejos146010 ай бұрын

It is practically a sin to have the luxury of being able to sit here and watch Neil Young give us his very best for literally nothing. This is most definitely one of his best songs with out Crazy Horse. Thank you so much Neil, you truly are a Master!

Getting to hear Neil Young at Red Rocks has always been something special. He'd play through storms and always put a great show and kept playing! Ths concert was great because of songs like this, "Bad Fog of Loneliness, World on a String, some of his lesser known songs. May have been the last time I saw the great Donald Duck Dunn. R.I.P. brother

Jim Keltner is one of the greats, highly underrated. He does stuff that other drummers wouldn't do, or his playing is very unorthodox, but totally fluid. One of my drumming heroes.

Neil can teach a lot about song dynamics within a song to experienced musicians including some of his contemporaries, just by example. Most bands try to peak their performances with a few select songs, while Neil peaks within songs ALL NIGHT!!! Then you have this GREAT band letting him go anyplace he wants with really cool glassy sounding tube distorted solos and chordal bliss..... I love Neil with the Horse, but this is different musicianship altogether as some really fine players actually have Neil raising his game, while with the Horse it is the other way around. Neither is bad, but for a song like Words, this band fits the bill..... Glad to have seen this in Milwaukee same tour. Magic!

60yrs old now, I can't tell you who were the greatest guitarists ever, outside of Hendrix, Page, Stevie, and so many others, but I can tell you who were and are my favorites. Hendrix, Page, Lifeson, Halen, Slash, Rhodes, Gilmour, Blackmore, Wylde, and Neil Young. I hope you like that list of my favorites. Again, its my favs, not saying they were better or worse because its all about what we like and what we want to hear. There is probably at least a hundred lead guitarists that are better than all these guys. But these my favs. BTW since I heard Hendrix All Along the Watch Tower when I was 12, it has always been my favorite song, number 2 is The Song Remains the Same, 3rd is Fade to Black by Metallica. Everything I wrote in the comment will never change, I will go to my grave with it. Love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Special considerations on my fav guitars would be John Denver, Roy Clark, Trower, Mason, Angus, and Schenker from the Scorpions, who I believe started my favorite genre Hair Band Music with UFO.
