I live in Metro Denver Red Rocks is the premier outdoor Ampitheater with music and movies....the night of this concert it poured and Neil was gonna cancel but concert goers told him to go on....

Wow! I 've been a hard-core Neil Young fan ever since the "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" album. Today I heard this version of "Tonight's the Night" for the first time. Very, very nice. And this great version is done by none other than... the man himself. It's a gentler version of the Tequila-drenched version he originally performed on the LP.

Not just you. It is so real and understandable. Roadies and their “eco” economical Econovans ... and the word EconoLINE strangely harkens to MainLINE. Imagine Neil singing a Brandname!! In such a shakey voice with perfect backup. He nails the strange mystery. We can still see Bruce doing what Neil saw he did. 🎸

It seems for the longest time I didn't understand that lyric. But I grew up in the UK. We didn't have econoline vans. But in 1995, in Santa Barbara with a friend we pulled up in a parking "lot" next to to an econoline van. I experienced an epiphany. There. Was an Econoline Van.

There's an indy artist in Connecticut I just discovered that's doing a new Neil Young solo tribute show and it's absolutely amazing how much he sounds like Neil, even on his own original music. I've never heard anyone whose voice is this close to Neil's.
