I can remember a map called Crawl Central from years ago. I used to make it through that map with the Hopper before all the newer configs. I made a custom one with the biggest tires and I got rid of all the body panels. Then I would tune it with the highest ride height and widest offset. Worked pretty good. The new vehicles make it too easy.

They're based on real vehicles though. Look up, Rock Crawler, Rock Bouncer and Basher. They're all different class vehicles for offroad sport.

Crawling with the slower, less powerful cars are much more fun for me. Won't wheelie as much etc. And the grip is insane. Don't need alot of power for that. And the jeep is my favorite for sure. Not the one you used in the start tho. To much power in that version

Reminds me of those video about a hill run where most bmw and miata cant climb a hill because of wheelspin while a beetle cruise up the hill easily despite lower power but its because the weight is at the back where the axle is powered so more grip

There's a challenge with the crawler and it's frigging hard. I managed under 5 mins after resetting like 10 times. You first have to cross dunes with it and it just spins if you floor it. I haven't had so much fun with a game in a while, I'm glad I got it a few weeks back and then, boom, update. :D

Neilogical, there are several classes/leagues/variations of "rock crawlers". There is the slow and methodical which is called Rock Crawling. There is another class called "Bouncer" and so on. Each of them require vastly different suspension and transmission setups. The ONLY reason I know this because a friend of mine introduced me to the hobby of RC Rock Crawling.

Ney Neil, just in case you are interested, I have a super fast Nissan GT-R mod config that beats both the drag scintilla and bastion in the 1/4 mile (2.4s 0-60) and another that is faster than all vanilla cars and most mod cars (350mph). Might be interesting to bring that to the next multiplayer episode and smoke everyone on a straightaway

They are trail makers that show you the difficulty level (I, II, and III) With I being easiest - most 4x4s can handle. And with III being the hardest - where you will most likely need low range and locking diffs.
