Neiman Marcus sent me FAKE Christian Louboutins!!! 😡

WATCH UNTIL THE END for a side-by-side comparison!!! My mind is entirely blown right now guys. I can't even explain how excited I was to have my first Christian Louboutin "experience" - only to find out that one of the most reputable dealers of their brand sent me an absolutely fake one (and wrong style)!!!
I wanted to make this video for you as I initially had full faith in any reputable retailer NM/Bergdorf/Nordstrom/Saks... but now, I'm not so sure because this happened.
Hopefully this video not only brings attention to this issue (maybe it was a random fluke), but also makes you more aware to pay attention to the details - even at high-end retail stores.
Needless to say, I'm really upset about the entire situation. I tried to keep my cool in the video and be informative, but once I got the second pair in, I was absolutely furious.
Absolutely horrible experience. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Exactly I started doing that too because these places are sketchy but it could happen to the store itself as well they could send a fake pair back to CL who knows what really happened it may have just been a mess on their end they may have just messed this shoe up didn’t complete it properly during production

this totally freaked me out. I bought my first ever CL sneakers from Nordstrom a month ago. Gonna go up and check them over again. Disappointing that you can’t trust “reliable” outlets because there is so much greed in the world (not blaming the stores, just shady people who see opportunity for profit). Thanks for the video.

Yeah it’s totally sketchy. Hopefully yours are legit (and my video helps make the verification easier). When I chatted with CL directly they suggested purchasing directly which is sad that they apparently don’t feel confident with their own authorized dealers.

Someone purchased genuine CL from BD/Neimans and returned a pair of fakes instead. They returned the fakes with the genuine insoles from the shoes they kept, to try and avoid being caught. Obviously, they were put back into inventory without being noticed, and resold. They likely returned them with the reason Wrong Size or Wrong Color, to justify sending back fake shoes that didn't match.

I ordered D&G handbag from BG and received the package from NM. I received a fake one as well. 1. The purse doesn't come with original box 2.. The leather outside and inside were scratched 3. The tag was not attached and doesn't match with the purse item #.. 4. No authentication card 5. Snap closure wasn't aligned I cleaned the customer service and they have nothing else to say. It's sad and disappointing.

I knew it! They sold me fake Alexander McQueen sneakers. I wore them once and noticed the “Alexander McQueen” logo on the back peeling off, almost like a sticker! I will never shop at Neiman Marcus again. Buyers beware! 🤦🏾‍♀️

Yikes! Maybe it isn't that uncommon of an occurrence.. I've read the horror stories of them not returning merchandise that they sold that isn't authentic -- because it isn't authentic.

Bergdorf. The real pair came from a brick and mortar location of NM. They are actually sister companies both owned by NMG.

I’m currently dealing with this. Unfortunately I didn’t know I had a fake until after the return date had lapsed. So frustrating especially when it’s NM you’d think they had a great in depth authentication process.

Sorry to hear. I'd think that the return window isn't applicable to counterfeit product. If the store won't take care of you, I'd just file a chargeback with your CC company as the product you purchased was not what was offered.

I am not convinced that the first shoe is fake. Factory defects. Yes, no factory is flawless in quality control. The salesperson if you ordered from one, should have questioned the bleeding of purple on the white sole. I have sold high end shoes for 35 years, and without exception factory defects happen with EVERY vendor.

The shoe is so laughably fake and is miles from a QC issue. I mean it is all explained in the video, but I'll reiterate it for you.. CL independently confirmed with me that NONE of their shoes have the "tailinboard" underneath the insole - as well as the outsole issue (which I provided them with pictures) - in fact, the FAKE/Replica websites themselves show this insole. Aside from that undeniable fact, several other issues are present with the shoe (3 mismatching sizes on the box, tongue AND insole/stitching/miscolored swarovski/and others illustrated in the video). Not trying to be mean here, but for 35 years in the industry, I wonder how many shoes you unknowingly returned that were fake if you're in denial about this one lol...

@@MegaMilez my point is that there is no perfect vendor, and that whoever last handled the shoes before shipping failed you. CL as a vendor to their credit when these are found they insist on the offending shoe be destroyed. So my point is flawed isn't always fake. Every factory had "seconds"

I'm no expert but you could try. However, I think you'd have to prove that they did it intentionally. The one I received appeared to have been previously purchased (it had a sticker on the box from a previous transaction with a customer's name). So, their defense would likely be it was that individual who swapped out the authentic ones for fakes and then returned them. But that still doesn't explain why they sent me an entirely different model with a different UPC and item number. That should have been caught unless it was intentional because the ones I received weren't even on the site at the time I purchased them. I feel it'd likely be a class action as others have apparently experienced this too.

Yeah luckily I did. It took them OVER A MONTH to credit me which was unbelievable too. I had to call in countless times and be like wtf is going on??? But I’ve read about others who bought fake purses from them and were declined a return. I believe their experiences because people who buy, swap with a fake and then return merch don’t usually post about being declined a return. Can you imagine? Buying a 2k shoe or 4k purse, getting a fake, then being denied the return?! 💀
