NEITHER - EITHER - English grammar lesson

In this English grammar lesson we look at the use of NEITHER and EITHER.
First we compare the difference between TOO and EITHER with examples sentences.
Then we look at using NEITHER when responding to negative sentences that someone has said.
We show this by using the following structure:
NEITHER + Auxiliary + Subject
We see many examples of NEITHER in this word order in different tenses including:
- NEITHER with To Be
- NEITHER with the present simple tense
- NEITHER with the past simple tense
- NEITHER with modal verbs
- NEITHER with perfect tenses
These are compared to similar sentences that use EITHER instead of NEITHER.
We also give the pronunciation of NEITHER.
(There are two ways to pronounce NEITHER)
We also look at the meaning of NOR using the following structure:
NOR + Auxiliary + Subject

It should be: Both girls.... or sometimes Both OF THE girls Though you may hear "both the girls" because the spoken "OF" might disappear in the same way people say KINDA instead of KIND OF.
