Ofc he had summonings but it was limited to wasting his chakra first. He had very poor chakra control and everything . If he didn't have second form of chakra he had lost the match with Neji. When he stood up after Neji used his trigrams attack he was shocked and wasted of energy. While Naruto just borrowed from nine tails like it's nothing. If Neji had known the existence of nine tails he'd most likely win. Okay this was about Naruto now let's talk about the story and story point of view. The story is shonen. That's why it's always unfair how Neji got defeated with a single punch to me. The same neji who went toe to toe against kidimaru in Sasuke retrieval arc. Suffered so much but still stood high. Do you think that Neji would be defeated with a single punch if it was anyone besides Naruto delivering the punch? So my point is Naruto wasn't really strong at this point. Ofc he gets stronger once he learns rasengan and stuffs but at this point writer just wanted to show that Naruto is the MC not neji. That's all I feel like in these matches.

​@@notjohn6841u r correct. 1 it doesn't track. It's confirmed the seal makes Naruto and kuramas Chakra combine. Naruto absorbs a bit at a time. There not seperate in that sense. Not only that but in order to heal the Chakra has to flow So if narutos Chakra can't move how does kurama heal the network in first place. Not only that jonin have issue with that level of kyubi. Also once kyubi was out what could neji do. His moves instantly became useless. Every strike would just heal. U need huge damage to drop Naruto. Gentle fist can't keep up With that. Unless it's a much stronger strike.

Just so I couldn't miss naruto episode (Lee Vs gaara) The only issue was... You had to wait for full week for every single episode.... Ahhh!

Judging how much you enjoyed this batch of episodes, I gotta tell you you're gonna love this show, absolutely. It's got great story and is FULL of these type of hype moments that just get you invested like crazy. Also, this was my favorite fight when I was a kid, I would rewatch this fight maybe once a week and we would play ninja on the playground and imitate this fight.

1.This fight isn't terrible and adrenaline just works for a person, but in my opinion it is not the best. Just wait for my favorite character to show up and only then will you see 😎 2. With this victory over Neji, Naruto wanted to make him stop thinking that people are ranked according to what they can and cannot be.

The irritating things about this fight are: 1) Neji was always right about destiny and stuffs. 2) Naruto is a lame ass bozo at the point he's all talk but very weak. And he relies on the fox a lot. Naruto vs Kiba and Naruto vs Neji is my least favourite fights in chunin exam. (if you dont count Ino Vs Sakura which i dont usually even count as a fight. I skip the reactions too for these)

Yes it is pretty hard. Naruto shouldn't have even been able to use fox. His Chakra wasn't gone. Like the show tried to say. It was stoped. How can the fox heal him if it can't flow. And once it did. Neji could do nothing. Without chidori level jutsu. Neji was done. Narutos points would just heal continuously

That's something a lot of fans misinterpret. The nine tails is seen as something that can't be controlled and will only bring ruin. Naruto changed his fate like he said he would by actually controlling it, like he's been telling Neji the whole fight "If you don't like your destiny change it" or something like that.
