You are star! This was THE BEST demonstration for applying an Ayurvedic mixture on KZbin EVER! Your application covered every strand of hair and you worked it IN until your texture yielded to it. That is how you do a mask treatment. Finally! Thank you so much for your patience and thoroughness. Peace!

Awesome technique! I will try this. I just started using Alma powder for the first time last week, and I noticed an IMMEDIATE improvement and soon as I washed it out. I used it as a hot oil treatment. I just simply used 4oz of olive oil and a spoon of Alma powder and put it in the blender to mix then poured the mix in an applicator bottle. I then poured heated water and sat the bottle in the hot water and after it cooled I spritz my hair and scalp and applied it and let it sit for 30 mins and washed it out. I sometimes use the Bentonite clay mask with apple cider vinegar, which softens and clumps my curls but Alma is a game changer for sure! Im thinking of maybe mixing Alma powder with Bentonite clay to see what happens.

Ayden Sumerall why is it so hard to believe that black people have curly/wavy/kinky curly hair naturally without chemicals? Please do some research on how to allow your curls to pop if you choose to do so. Remember that curls and Afros alone are a Gift from God. Please do not come onto people’s pages and say that they are adding chemicals when if you look through their videos they are showing you how they create and maintain moisture in their hair which is how some obtain lots of curls. Also, please learn more ( as I am doing ) on Ayurvedic hair treatments. It’s natural herbs infused into natural oils then applied to the hair. After a period of time while following a regime the hair reacts differently because herbs/plants are a good thing for our hair. I believe that these types of natural Ayurvedic treatments are good for all hair. You can see the Indian (southeast Asian) community and Africans doing these treatments as well for many decades. Be blessed on your journey in discovering the great things that God has created your hair to do as well. I am praying the same thing for me.

I just found you and subscribed. Thank you for helping us naturals. Do you overnight pre-poo with the amla mask every weekend? And do you also deep condition under the steamer as well? I pre-poo with aloe, and deep condition under my steamer every week. I'm just trying to learn from you, if it is safe to use the amla this way?
@NekiCakes2 жыл бұрын
Thank you love and glad you enjoyed the video! At the time of this video yes I did prepoo overnight weekly with Amla, that has changed-I no longer prepoo overnight but I still use Amla very frequently to prepoo (At least twice a month for 1-2hrs) I just like to switch up my recipes but the main ingredients (Amla,henna, fenugree-etc) are usually the same. I don’t really use my hooded steamer vs when I did in my older videos. You can use Amla weekly yes it’s safe, you can also use it in rotation with your regular prepoo mix (one week Amla, next week aloe/dc)

Or reassurance?

Yikes. Try to apply it onto your skin first and wait 24-48hrs to see how your skin reacts or better yet, don't take the risk
