Hey, I just subscribed and turned on notifications. This is my 1st video of yours that I watched. I got half way through and paused it. I got my spray bottle of Aloe Vera juice and warmed it up also warmed up my Avacado Oil. I applied both as directed!! Put on my plastic cap sat under my dryer with low heat for about 20 minutes. Then just kept the cap on for about 90 minutes. When I took off the cap and looked at my hair, OMG...it looked just like yours does in this video!! My hair was so shiny and super soft and moisterized!! This is a weekly treatment!!! It's a Keeper!!! My hair had been looking really dull and feeling dried and I did some research and determined it's a protein issue. I looked at all my products and Shea Moister has protein in ALL their deep conditioners and their Strengthen & Restore Leave-In Conditioner that I use a lot. Maui Moisture is the only product that I have that does NOT have protein in it. I have the pink Maui Moisture Shampoo, Conditioner and Mask. I used that for this wash and go. I got up this morning, and my hair is STILL soft, shiny and moisterized! I will be doing just ONE protien treaatment a month, as recommended. My low porosity hair definately can not take a lot of protein. Thank you for sharing this information! ♡♡♡♡♡

Hey new subbie here. Just have a few questions about this. I have low porosity hair and was wondering when you put the aloe vera juice is it cold out the fridge or is it rm temperature? I would love to try this but was wondering if spraying the cold aloe vera juice on my low porosity hair will b ok? Thanks in advance! Great video!
@NekiCakes6 жыл бұрын
DRSXOTIC 1 Thank you love. I store my aloe juice in the fridge so it’s always cold when I use it. If you choose to have it at room temperature there’s nothing wrong with that.

Neki Cakes Lol yeh I said that totally wrong. I'm sorry, I wasnt looking at the plaits as a prepoo but an actual style because I know you braid your hair a lot. And. I was asking if you braid like this do you add hair in? Sorry, thank you.....

Nekk Cakes, I'm fairly new to a lot of different regimens and how different products interact with certain hair types and porosities, so please forgive my ignorance. But can I use aloe vera juice on low porosity hair? I have read that aloe vera juice closes the cuticles. If this is true, should I use the oils first, and then the aloe vera to seal the cuticles? Or is it still okay to use the aloe vera first?
@NekiCakes6 жыл бұрын
kim 746 aloe is a sealant, I’ve seen low porosity naturals use it both ways. So it all depends on what ur hair likes since everybody is different.
@chuunibyou92746 жыл бұрын
+Neki Cakes thank you. I will try it both ways to see what works. My hair resist moisture like the plague, so I'm interested to see how this will work. Thanks again for the information.

Hey Sis! I just discovered you lol. I love your explanations and your hair is so beautiful. My hair is very similar but im high density. I am still usually a dry frizzy mess but i see where things can gonif i can get my routine right. I currently do all of the things that im seeing you do in your videos but i have no solid schedule/ routine through out the month. I have never made a cherry lola but i make a similar mixture with the same essential ingredients that you highlighted. I use henna tea and henna gloss, rice water, aloe juice, home made flax gel and home made herbal oil (recipe derived from CurlyProverbz recipe). Im trying to figure out when to do what and how often. I have tried the max hydration clay process twice and i didnt enjoy it because it left sooo much residue in my hair...i dont use henna in mask form anymore for the same reason. Can you make a video and written list of when you do what through out the month? And can u give some tips that might help me to try max hydration/ clay with better success??? Pretty please and thank you so much. Love and blessings!

makeda ahmirh fareed hello love, sorry I didn’t see this comment! But I can definitely do that, as I know we all have different outcomes when using these types of methods. For the month of December it will be all about my full regimen, henna, mhm, winter care, how to use products, etc.!
@Pulapaws5 жыл бұрын
Maybe try not to make it so thick and cowash with a true cowash or dilute shampoo after the henna treatment. If you click on the link curlyproverds have on her video give you this tip on their free ebook about henna.

Y is it called pre poo
@redrose141524 жыл бұрын
It usually takes place before the shampoo process 👍🏽. It prevents too much water from entering your strands while washing.
