Biggest tip to counter Yunlin : If you see opponent using back shadow, congratulations, you've just got a chance to punish her. Just hold back controller and then attack button the moment Yunlin teleports to grab her. Of all her shadows, back shadow is the most punishable, therefore pro Yunlins won't use it unless they know that opponent can't react.

Every time you see she uses a shadow move (except up move) you can do down attack too. Down attack will dodge her stun and down attack will hit her after teleport. But a grab + follow attack will Deal more damge of course. Beside her HP bar you can see which shadow move she uses. The used shadow move will light up for a short time.

Actually Yunyun stats are good, even if you increase her attack by her 2nd talent, What she really deserve is a fcking huge rework, I think Nekki made this hero on drugs 🎉

I have punished a lot of yunlin players using jack , i use jacks down attend as soon as i see them using shadow , either ill dodge using fortress or just connect if they teleport and try to grab

1:56 bro use heavy attack if opponenet gets hit in the air. But I think you already know that If he is on highest point heavy will always connect after shadow and if he is not that high you can try heavy kick or jump kick if he tries to escape heavy with back roll. But in the case of the video was really high in the air so heavy should have finish Yunlin. Edit: besides the HP bar you can see the shadow moves. If Yunlin uses one the used shadow move will light up. This helps sometimes to react faster to her shadow attacks. A good tool against Yunlin is a good Internet connection with low ping as well.

Yunlin is easy to counter with any of your preferred heroes , its just that being a bit more reflexive when shes uses her shadow moves give you an advantage, and all her attacks are punishable if dodged on time , level 10 kate can punish a maxed yunlin if played well

No offense but i dont think you know how it works, yunlin is cancer character to play against as she can spam her shadow moves, the back shadow literally hard to punish and its hard when they use very good combos

5:24 Cobra used a normal get up. You can not grab characters until they are ready to attack. You tried to grab as she was not fully get up so she was not ready to attack. In case of recovery kick a grab would work because it was an attack that needs the character to get his "balance" again.

I think the problem is that you panic a bit or give unnecessary attacks when facing Yunlin. I'm not that pro, but in my experience, the way to handle when facing Yunlin is to stay calm because her attack ability mainly depends on her front and back shadow which can be easily countered with a little bit reflexively, I myself feel quite comfortable and sometimes easy when opponents use Yunlin, of course not very good players like Kaoji

Itu needs to be reworked and nerfed. His perks are way too hacked and broken and his new epic weapo. Seriously inevitable. Even with just two perks, he is unstoppable. He seriously needs to be reworked like kibo got.
