Calli used to have a way better alcohol tolerance, but she pretty much stopped drinking a couple years ago (aside from special occasions) to get healthier

Suisei was there but I believe she wasn’t set up for her model so they just stuck her image on the screen, she spends most of it next to Lui and Akirose based on how the girls keep looking when talking to her. And after this new years drinking stream Calli, Ririka, and Raden went out for karaoke and Calli didn’t get home until 6 am (this stream started I think 12:30 or 1 am their time)

Also with the drinking party, the right table was DRUNK by the time Suisei showed up, Calli was drinking whiskey while the rest I think were drinking sake

@@starlight_sydoh yeah, also there is a follow up clip to the one you watched of Subaru, Pekora, and watame guessing their partner, it’s swapped and marine accurate deduces each of the girls (watame was EASY to guess lol)

Oh boy, you should look up some of Pekora's older minecraft videos if you liked this one. She's known as the war criminal of minecraft for all the pranks and bullying she's done in that game. xD It's actually kinda wholesome, because when she started out, she was super shy about interacting with the other talents, and would just play minecraft solo a lot, but slowly started interacting with them through Minecraft (starting with Moona), and it really helped bring her out of her shell and be more outgoing with them. Though she's still pretty shy in-person, from what some of the others have said over the years.

Context on drinking stream : Suisei usually doing New Year Countdown watch along with some of the Holomems, but this time she gets to perform in a New Year countdown event that shown on TV, which is why she's kinda absent during New Year Countdown for Hololive. She's probably felt a bit lonely, which is why she's dropping by the studio and meet with other Holomems after her job finished where they are doing the drinking streams. Which also explains why there's no model since she probably dropped unannounced.

9:10 If I remember correctly, Suisei was there but didn't have her model or tracking equipment on because she was actually an unexpected guest. See, she had just finished performing a New Years concert at another venue and was feeling a bit lonely. So she caught a cab and rushed to the studio so she could hang out with the girls for a bit. She basically just walked in, ate some food, watched them dance for her, laughed for a bit, and left lol

12:55 so, suisei had been at the NHK New Year's countdown, and when it ended, she just kinda showed up to steal some chicken. Ririka and Raden had been to Austria recently and visited Kiara while they were there. According to Kiara, Ririka has like 0 alcohol tolerance. Like, she gets tipsy smelling a drink (okay, maybe that's a bit of hyperbole, but still)

Calli doesn't usually break "character"... but when she's doing OFF collabs she lets loose more and becomes more herself. An excellent example was when she invited the EN girls to go to her house before the SHOW she had in the USA. It was a "party" and several went there... she did a live and the crowd kept arriving... it was really fun and she was TOTALLY there...

8:50 If I'm not wrong Suisei came from singing for the end of the year in Japan, she must have been in a nearby studio and stopped by to say hello, that's why they didn't have the 3D ready and put a png to know who was there.

Yeah Towa and Subaru are the ones who have "idle animation" whenever there's 3D events. Another one is Nene and Lamy always keeps her in check

yeah theres quite a few EN tallents that live consistently in japan and thus can participate in the JP 3D events more often. Calli lives in japan, FUWAMOCO moved there last year, biboo recently moved but she's not as fluent so it might be a while to see her collab more with the JP mems, Raora was as well for a while, but she also doesnt have her 3D model yet and also isnt fluent quite yet, Irys I believe is also in japan.

I'm no expert, and I didn't hear or read anybody else's explanation, but what I imagine is that they made and rigged a Mio silhouette, then made two copies, each one tracking the movements of whoever's on the other side of the screen in presumably the studio.
