I'm wondering how this will work since they've said the entire game takes place in Lumiose. But then a few expansive games take place in just one city (Batman: Arkham comes to mind. A lot of the Yakuza series).

prolly lumiose scaled up. Remember, kanto is pretty much metro tokyo. If you've seen the beta map from gold and silver, its literally the entire japanese islands. When you got the chance to go to kanto, all you go to is saffron city. So if Lumiose became its own region, its probably based on the ile de france division in france. In fact, Paris itself is a large city, so even without ile de france and just in the city of paris itself, you'd have a long time trying to go through the entire city alone XD

Speaking of mega evolutions instead of alphas, imagine if you get the mega stones by defeating one in a boss fight while in a fitting location and time, such as Banette in an alleyway by a pile of trash.

I am so excited that Zygarde is gonna have it's own game. And it's LEGENDS! Kinda like how Metroid Dread came back after being cancelled during the DS era. Fingers crossed Game Freak actually puts some effort into this. 🤞

Gamefreak really did the bait and switch on us by teasing both Johto and Unova. Not a single person had Kalos in their Bingo cards today, It's shocking. I guess it all makes sense. After all the Kalos Legendaries were absent from SV Indigo Disk AND Greninja had Battle Bond reduced to just a temporary buff (Ash-Greninja can absolutely be it's Mega Evolution, while the other Kalos starters will recieve theirs)

My interpretation is that redevelopment means to redevelop the already urban city that existed BEFORE lumiose city. That's why it's shot like a name reveal for the new city of "Lumiose City". This could be stupid and people are probably more right about the future with the colors and the style. I think I just don't like being wrong 😔 Edit: to add on, i like to point out that the trailer presents itself with the caption "where people and pokemon can coexist peacefully" or something along those lines, making me think that how can this be the future if that has certainly already happened in multiple pokemon stories, including the present day XY.

Yeah I’m getting past vibes of how the city came to be. Plus the series name is Legends and about exploring first hand the legends we’re told in the other games in that region. We find out how the legends came to be made.

What's to say nothing in future-Kalos won't destroy Lumiose City and necessitate its reconstruction? In fact, I'm willing to bet that's how the game starts.

Legends: Z-A was definitely a surprise to be sure, but a serious welcome one. Although, now I'm just wondering if the Unova remakes will come in 2026. But I do have one complaint, that we've got to wait for nearly a whole year until this game comes out. At least after March 14th, I'll have the 'Star Wars: Battlefront classic collection' to hold be off.

Any extra time for the game to be polished is good! Plus it'll probably release early 2025 like Arceus did. And even if we don't have a mainline game release this year, I'm sure there will be something else that comes out to tide us over, maybe even a new spinoff entry
