omg... back when i was a kid i remember me and my brother on family reunion at my uncle's home, we "accidentally" playing this game on my uncle's PC, i thought it just a random life simulator with cute bunny girl in it until my father found out and turn the pc off 😂 its soooo awkward

I own the game 3 times for pc, once the base game (it was free in a game magazine on a cd-rom) and twice the Gold version. I have played back in the days this game really a lot (I think that I had published almost 1500 magazines), many years later I have bought the Gold version just to own the game in a box and to know what are the new "extras" in this deluxe version. The Gold version got not many new features, just a I think it's a Hawaii inspired party location with just a handful new items ..... the biggest down is that in the gold version the nudity gets covered by a pixel mosaic like in the Sims. :( I think that's this is really weired because in the box of the Gold version are 2 cds , one with the unblurred base game and the other with the new upgraded gold version that's censored. And about glitches and bugs, after 1000 magazines or so was I no more able the go upstairs and Hef was no more able to do "adult" interactions. Also, I think 2 or 3 outfits in the the game are not done well, I needed to change them with windows paint (the textures was few pixels too high or too low). There are some things to make the game more fun, first you can make your own clothes variations (just copy the outfit texures you want to change and give them other numbers) and the other thing is to change some bikini textures to the "basic" red color, after that will all the changed bikinis be invisable. For the photo shooting it's a little more tricky, because it takes a little to find out how to change a Tga picture to make it later in the game to apear clear. It's important to have a clear texture for the magazine pictures .... what's a Playboy magazine without nudity. ^^ Funny fact, it doesn't matter what's on the photo .... you can take a picture of just a table and it will be "the best picture ever". 😆

So its basically the Sims with boob physics? I think I was about 21 when this came out. I think I may have seen this when I worked guarding the porn section at Fry's electronics. The only game I remember being in that section was the Adult only version of Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude. I was thinking lately how its nice were going to be getting several competitors to the sims soon and that it'll be nice for there to be some competition out there. I totally forgot how many forgettable knockoff the sims simulators there were out there in the mid 2000s. (also FYI its voluptuous,, not volumptuous. I often here people add an M in it).
