A very strong debut from Slovakia, one of the better debutants. In my top 10 this year, this was very underrated! Good on Malta and Greece for giving this points, even if they were voting tactically...

Man, so much quality in -94, and somehow the most boring song won. Just how did Ireland win? I was six years old back then and all about the finnish ladies and their dancers, but I've rewatched this one a bunch of times, and basically everything was more interesting than Ireland.
