Take a trip in time with us to about 150 years ago at Nelis' Dutch Village. This family fun theme park in Holland, Michigan celebrates a wooden factory, cheese-making & a petting zoo. Our little enjoyed all the different rides and my wife loved petting the goats.

That was our favorite part and you did an amazing job. If you look through the comments people were shocked you danced with wooden shoes. I told them, they wore it all day as you all worked at other stations. Our family loved it there and we are looking to go back there during Tulip Festival. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!!!! With a 3 year old, we are not ready for Holland yet. Next year we are looking to go to Hawaii to test out our flying stamina. And then hopefully international travel the year after that. So proud of Rosalie conquering her fear of that slide. She is still talking about it.

Nelis Dutch village looks like a fun place to visit with family. Rosalie atop of the slide reminds me of the time my boy climbed on a slide on bouncy castle and was too scared to slide down and didn't want to get down. My hubby had to climb up and slide down with him. It was hilarious. I didn't know Melissa went to school in the Netherlands. So cool!

We weren't even planning to go here. We were just going to eat and discovered it was a theme park. Random adventures are so fun to me. We have had a few of those moments where we had to rescue her also. Melissa told me she had a blast while studying there for 6 moths.

This is a fun place with kids for sure. If you go to Holland, MI, you need to check out Windmill Island. They actually flew in an actual Windmill from the Netherlands and the best time to go is during the Tulip Festival. Rosalie is getting braver with each video. You guys have really made it to a lot of places this year.

Only difference was they used cotton instead of wool. It's gets hot there. Those guys dancing also wore those shoes as they worked the rides afterwards.

My new goal is to learn a new effect on Final Cut Pro for each video. So eventually I can put it all together into one video. This week was the black bars going down to make it look like it's at the theater. And I have been trying to put the moments I usually would edit out and have a story within a story. We love MI. I actually went to school in Lansing for a few years so it has a place in my heart. We have been to Holland before also but just went to Windmill Island. Nelis Dutch Villagee is great for those that have kids. Rosalie said she wants to go back.

Those dancer in clogs just didn't do it for the dance. They were also the regular worker on all the rides. Can you believe they wore that for the entire day. Rosalie was so mad that I got her wet but that was my favorite part for sure. It was such a great place for the family.

How come I have never heard of this place before, it is such a gem. We went to Windmill Island when we went here 4 years ago. We are looking to go back during the famous Tulip Festival!!!! Not sure if Rosalie will remember but she can rewatch it!!!! Good to see other parents are not everyone gets a trophy parent. Rosalie doesn't have much fear so I was surprised it was this slide.

I didn't film it but the ferris wheel stopped and it was rocking back and forth and Melissa was like stop moving!! It was pretty scary!!!! But when it moved again, it was fun!!!! City Museum is one of most favorite places we have visited.

Hopefully next year Tulip Time will have all of its events back and if they do, the Dutch Food at the Civic Center will be available and that's some really good eats!

I told my wife I rally wanted to go back to Holland during the Tulip Festival. We just happened to be heading back and wanted to eat dutch food. So were so glad we detoured and discovered this place. We'll be back for sure. When go to the Tulip Festival I'll make sure to check out the Civic Center for sure. Thank you for the tips. Always get good advice from our viewers!!!!

They are, oh they are. But you get used to them when they mold to your feet, and I wear about 8 pairs of socks when dancing so that helps

It's literally wooden shoes. And they just wear 10 socks and they wear it all day. After they dance they work all the rides!!!!
