Was Fifa Street Actually Good?

Back when EA Sports used to make good football games, they also made good street football games. Fifa Street is regarded by many as a classic but does it still hold up? What made this game special and why is Fifa 21 Volta is no where near as good.

Looks like Squad battles legendary difficulty was getting brewed on that game. Every single thing you described about how dirty and cheating the AI is at FIFA street is present in SB today. This is absolutely the inception of sliders manipulation and DDA

Just beat super hard mode by playing it fairly. Can confirm it is rigged. And it depends more on whether you scored first and how much you're winning by. Towards the end of the 2nd half however, even that is thrown out the window.

Fifa street was a great example of a game that's basically like your typical sports game except its like depicts what if soccer players played soccer in their free time on the streets no rules just fun, I remember playing this game with my little brother on the ps2 and well it was fun despite the funk mechanics

I'm a hater of Fifa, I love Pes, unfortunately Konami is a Fifa fan and they broke their game trying to copy EA, make unplayable but I remember to play fifa street demo on the beginning of ps3 life, desiring to play it but never bought one, so I have to say that I have a good memory of the game and I'm laughing a lot here with your video, desiring to play.

If you remove the gamebreaker then you basically have the same "realistic" gameplay that EA claims Fifa would have today.

Funny thing: the PSP version of FS2 is basically the same as the first FS except for the logo and the soundtrack. Oh and bicycle kick is OP in that game.

Great game! I had it for the GameCube, possibly the most creative evil associated have ever got with a football game it's like they used their entire pot of imagination on it and then forgot to refill it. Also as a suggestion If you can find it look for LMA manager on the ps1 by codemasters it's simplicity made it brilliant.

@@NellyGotBored yeah do it's worth a play, I think they made the very last one for PS3 maybe but the early ones were the best, I think codemasters could actually teach EA how to make decent footy games if they gave them a chance but you'll probably just see players get charged for more fuel in the next F1 game.

I hated this game... a few times of the locked "broken ankles" animation and it was dust ridden from then on. Utter trash. Like Volta now... 00:50 kudos on that string theory connection map Nelly that brightened a would solely frustrated memory of Fifa Street 😂
