Their grandfather Ozzie Nelson had a number one hit in the 30's, their Father Rick also had a number one hit, followed by Matthew and Gunner having a number one. Such an amazing song I remember watching music videos on VH1 with my dad as kid and this song came on we both loved this band and now that I’m older I found a Nelson shirt and gave it to him. I’m so thankful he’s here with me today still listening to all these great bands

True that,@@zackthebongripper7274. I think the bigger deal with Milli Vanilli, though, is that they didn’t even sing on their own albums.

I had the immense pleasure of meeting them and hearing them play this song and others in person when we were all kids! This was in a setting with a personal friend that was connected to their family (I got to meet Tracy too and she was salt of the earth wonderful and beautiful!) and these guys sang this song for me at 19 or 20 yo and it brought me to tears. Did they gloat? No, they saw my reaction, and said Hey brother check out this next one...and then they played After the Rain! That night is one of my most treasured memories!

I remember when we moved to Murfreesboro, TN in 1990. I started my Junior year in high school and met Sean, who had (still has it) a 1969 GTO. We became friends and hung out. He'd always listen to the latest rock songs in that GTO when we would cruise around town. This is one of the songs that he really liked. I remember him rewinding it to play again multiple times. Several years later, I brought it up that he had this album on cassette and that he loved this song. He flatly denied it. A year or two later, we were rummaging through his old cassettes and I found Nelson. I picked it up and hid it. I again, brought up the fact that he loved Nelson and played the cassette all the time. He denied it again saying he never wanted that album and didn't buy it. He didn't know what to say when I revealed the cassette to him.
