just finishing Neltje's autobiography "North of Crazy" and it has given me a great urge to visit her beloved part of the world. As a fellow abstract expressionist, the highlands of Scotland (my childhood home) and the landscape of Sicily (my home from home) seem to resonate with Neltje's description of Northern Wyoming. I was lucky to meet her near her home at a garden party. She was not in good health at that time and she signed her book for me. I would have loved to have seen her home. She had beautiful sculptures on her property. Very interesting woman. May she rest in peace.
