It's funny how the closest thing to fachwerk (Plaster walls in timber truss associated with traditional German housing) that the base game has is Yamatai panels. Arena and Stable set use is also on point. You might also consider Yamatai foundations whenever they're visible from the side (Smooth, bright stone that goes well with Nemedian walls) and Frontier ceiling pieces for smooth wooden floors.

I was contemplating taking one of the old school dungeons & dragons modules, from maybe the 1980s, and trying to use the floor plans to build something. Perhaps Castle Ravenloft or the Keep on the Borderlands.

Nice build! Could you explain how the baseplate is constructed? Looks like walls and ceiling, but are there foundations below?

Glad you enjoyed! If I recall correctly, I built the baseplate with Sandstone, then covered it with fence foundations, removed the sandstone and built up the baseplate dependent on height with different materials

I think the only kind of build I haven't seen in KZbin is a Hippodrome for horse races. We build one on PvE Server, basically a Huge oval

As always Eradication, a phenomenal build! I have a rather lovely request, you can put it on your list of rather large builds xD but uh.. I was thinking, I'd love to see Fort Skyhold from Dragon Age: Inquisition, built with your rather LOVELY style! To be honest, I think the Nemedian, Arena & Stormglass building pieces would work rather lovely together, pretty much using Arena for the Defensive Walls, Gatehouses and Bridge, whereas Nemedian would be used for the actual buildings such as the Castles, Tavern, Temple, Hall, etc. and of course Stormglass would be used for the Temple's windows, or if you think it'd fit any other place! Or, if you think any of the modded building pieces from Northern Timber i.e Tavern pieces would work, try it out! Definitely would think any of the modded decorations would work XD This thought randomly came to me... like I've seen people do Kaer Morhen, Minas Tirith, but I've never really seen anyone make Skyhold.

i kinda wish they would add some tier 1 or 2 building sets, maybe dlc with a tier 3 building set and a teir 1 version of that set so instead of a clean high quality cut stone its more a rough thrown together look

Just a quick question is there any way you can extend that circle Tower at least two maybe three more stories tall to make it actually be able to look over the entire Castle not only as a advantage point but as a last place of defense would be really cool but you did an amazing job on everything else including it it would just make more sense if it was a little taller and yes you probably would have to put in more pillars in that section to support the weight

From memory, that section of the build was troublesome because of the pillars, but extending it upwards is definitely possible, I just chose not to do it myself

Hey @Eradicationamazing vid again keep up the good work, here is a little challenge for you, since i was trying the new building pieces and combine them with other ones i came accross the tavern building pieces, Now here is the thing, combining Nemedian walls as first level and use the white tavern pieces as second and 3rd story, adding some nemedian stone towers and voila, you got yourself a nice cool looking small castle/residence would be nice to see a building with some of those specs from you ^^ the home of a Librarian/alchemist with a secret love on torture people for his experiments ^^ RP friendly and with a building restriction to 1400 pieces (decoration doesnt count) Will you dare to try this project? ^^

That and the mythical inverted awning corner, at least they added some cool unique pieces with this dlc so it's a step in the right direction, would really love it if they would go back and update some of the older dlc (I know they wont because money)

Vaulted wedge piece would be nice, the only problem is how do you do it and make it work under any circumstances

I agree I would love for them to update old build mats to include what others have like arena is lacking fence foundations and sloped walls and vaulted wedge ceiling would be a task but not impossible

Okay so... your floor plan is not correct to the build that you did in the video. My friend and I have spent hours trying to build this and are running into issues because the floor plan is disproportional to your actual build in the video. Just thought I would let you know.
