Yog, a.k.a Yog Sothoth is initially a Lovecraftian entity and none of the Lovecraftian stories featuring Yog suggest any cannibalistic inclinations or requirements. It is hinted in various sources that Darfari, while amongst the very last to actively worship Yog Sothoth, were definitely not the first. Worship of Yog was not native to their people but was brought along with the Khari invaders. And so, I wonder if cannibalism is not but a rogue implementation brought into the religion by the Darfari who gradually bastardized the original religion with their own ancestral practices? Do you have any information on that?

Yog, Zath and Set are probably the gods im more curious about in this game, they are quite exotic compared to the likes of Ymir, Derketo and Mitra. Oh and there's also that god of the wild, and Hanuman? albeit that one seems completely forgotten and doesn't even have status as a god per say.

My characters (usually Hyborian of Hyrkanian ladies) usually take Yog as their initial religion (although sometimes they choose Derketo instead). However, they follow rather unorthodox, somebody might say even heretical, path of Yoggite ritual canibalistm - A) plant-based food is no longer taboo (nobody will take their beloved berries and berry pulp from them) B) human flesh might be consumed only from of person that either draw their weapons first (self-defense) or wronged them gravely (no flesh of the innocent, man or beast) C) Nunu's act is horrible taboo, consuming flesh of the young (again, be it human and beast) is frowned upon. Hey, they might be cannibals, but they are cannibals with moral standards.

I think this guy is great. With the many multiple characters I have played through, I never skip his dialogue when I inevitably come past his camp. I think he's an excellent introduction to what the Darfari are as opposed to, just bad guy to kill. This is one of the reasons why I think Sipta lacks as a map. But as time progressed in this game, other characters who serve exactly the same purpose criminally don't have any story or purpose as a religion trainer. The pirate queen near the Black Galleon was stripped of all function when she lost Mitra, (admittedly, it made more sense to have the stagnant Mitra priest at the statue teach that) and whoever the guy is that teaches Zath never even got a voice actor or story. Maybe these charterers could be "fleshed out" (no pun intended) and been seen in the tavern system?

Would love to see more small character lore videos like this. Great presentation. There is a lot of flesh to the exiled lands but it is the lore that gives that flesh flavor.

personally i believe you think about it too much, i believe that Toth goal is for exile people to build community and working together to finding treasure during so they can be raid, it would be pretty ineffective to transport hundred of people by sea and land just so barely 1 can survive, and those one probably going to be stronger survive alone. which mean less working together. beside what the point of imprison political prisoner if you going to kill them by crucifix. i believe that crucifix is probably case by case, some people just plob down in exile and just let them be, while some like barga and razama got death sentence and be crucifix. maybe Toth deal with some kingdom is crucifix prisoner while other kingdom is just place to plob down people you want to die, but can't kill them in public for domestical reason. or maybe you right and stronger people survive and save those weaker on the cross so they can lead them. and create better community to survive and gather treasure.

The pass through pieces do not work for the Turanian or Riders pack when trying to replace with the single arch way. I don't have the aesir piece. Where do you get this from?

There’s a problem with how they restored it. It used to be you could shift drag to your inventory from a bench, type the number, hit enter, and that amount went into your inventory. Now it splits but just stays in the bench. It’s a waste of time and still not restored properly!

It was never going to satisfy players because combat is at the heart of every part of this game. What Funcom did was like adding Lunar magic to a version of Runescape with no skilling. For anything to feel relevant and useful to most players in Conan it needs to either help in combat or help get to/from combat. I agree with Funcom that just copying Skyrim is the wrong move for this IP but there does still need to be something that helps in combat and has that 'kool' factor. That's something I learned while making the Destruction sorcery tree for my mod: players actually are really satisfied if they get to do the same thing as before but with cool particle FX.

I AM WONDERING WHY, that the wine celar is a broken as it is. and no one seems to care that that dungeon in 199% unplayable because of fataltalaties fucking up the game when they happen.

On Digimon the black obelisk dark towers would cause the digimon to corrupt and turn to slaves, it also caused the good guys to weaken severely to where they couldn’t digivolve. When someone used a dark source to power a base the leaking corruption was causing a warp in the digital world and since the black obelisks dark towers were in place this atomic explosion would have affected the real world as the borders were weakened by the black obelisk dark towers

I just don't play on public servers. 0 hackers. And the more invasive "anti-cheat" programs get, the more they wreck pc's and turn into crashware, like EAC. As any gamer knows, it's all about how YOU handle the situation. I don't know why the public servers still exist at this point and they don't focus more on co-op and supporting the private servers, which are moderated by the people who play there.

I started play the Legend of Shem map after you first featured it. It's a glorious map. But more importantly it put back into the game what was lost. The Legend of Shem is a survival game like the Exiled Lands use to be. Temperature is more relevant, all hostile NPCs are very dangerous. There are many friendly towns. And for long time players, everything is new again.
