Hi guys! Just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to speak to me and take a photo! I absolutely loved what they did with Nemesis and had a great time with the all the atmosphere. However, we tried to get on 4 rides yesterday (Nemesis twice, Curse and Wicker Man) and all 4 times the ride broke down while we were queueing, not a great look for the park. I was near the front of the queue when Nemesis went down in the evening and we were told to leave. Absolutely gutted to see that it reopened! Hopefully I can get a night ride later in the year.

Sadly that's what spoils parks. In 2024 shouldn't be happening. You pay hundreds or parents do for the tickets and you should be able to get 10 rides easily

Unreal. I used to visit Alton Towers a lot back in the 90s, when Gloomy Wood opened and Nemesis. The Log Flume and Corkscrew were still there and stuff like the Magic Carpet. Later it was things like the River Rapids, Mine train etc. And there were never any breakdowns of any sort. All rides open all day. All safe. And there had never been an accident. The place was spotless, well maintained and well looked after. It was not cheap for a ticket, but you could get a 2 day pass for about £20 as I recall. And more or less get on everything at least once in those two days. Just. One year I went for a week! Got two pairs of two day passes and stayed in a local B n B in the village and spent four days with the girlfriend charging round the park going on everything over and over again. By the time we left we had got the coaster bug out of our systems! The only time anything stopped was the cable car to let older or disabled people on or off at the stations. When you are paying whatever the price is now for the premium Theme Park in Europe, the place should be maximum up time, all the time and safe. Proper training for staff etc. Part of the problem now is there are too many people in the Uk. Back when I used to go the population was not 70million plus. It would have been 50 million or less. And we used to go outside of holidays, so we would miss Easter and go a few weeks later, round May or June. Place would be a lot less crowded. Then the other time of year was a few weeks after the School holidays at the end of September when the weather was till mild.

It was great to see you! The communication was very poor from the staff members that entered the queue-line telling people to leave. The operator was advising people to try other attractions over the PA system, however this was optional and anyone was allowed to wait. Sadly the staff in the queue didn’t realise this which caused a huge amount of confusion and leaving many people without a night ride.

@@ThemeParkWorldwide I agree, a real shame about the miscommunication towards the end. In this instance, I suspect that the staff who were clearing the queue didn't want to have to be there longer than necessary and so were purposely trying to clear the queue? About a year go, we were queuing for Smiler at the end of the day, and it broke down, and they told us that it wouldn't be operating again that evening, but they reopened Oblivion so that people who had been queuing could get a last ride if they wanted. Which I thought was very good of them!

It was a once in a lifetime experience! I was on the first train on row 7 and honestly the day was like a dream me and my friends started the nemesis chant and meeting u made it 10 times better! Thank you so much we love you all!

This was fantastic and great to see Alton Towers regaining it's old spirit once again! I've always loved visiting Alton Towers since it became a real Theme Park in 1980. On a school trip to have the same excitement for the then new ride - the Corkscrew! Great memories, and the first Nemesis ofcourse. Superb coaster. So with a mate I'll be re-visting this year to give the new version of Nemesis a go. I really can't believe it's been that many years since we all queued-up for this fantastic inverted coaster! Much older now, but still riding when I get time, but there's always Theme Park Worldwide vlogging if I can't be there in person. Cheers guys.

Yesturday was a phenomenal day overall. The ride was amazing and the themeing was fantastic. I left my house just before 4am and I got there at 7am and when they lifted up the barrier infront of one section of turnstiles (NOT opening the turnstiles) everyone charged through the bag search and straight to the turnstiles which was hectic and a few people started having panic attacks so Alton towers didn’t want the normal guest to get there any earlier then hotel guests. But everyone at the normal gate just charged forward! Then the rest was amazing until it got to the night when we were on the other side of the fence to you guys and then got evaded out and forced out. Not great missing our night ride BUT the one ride we did get was front row!!! Great vlog as always from you guys keep up the amazing work!

What an emotional watch already 11:33 remember that queue line route from opening year, I was 10 and on tip toes tall enough to ride. Took my dad and brother on, great times! Bringing my 13 year old this year and we are both so excited for this! Glad you had a great day!

This Ride looks Amazing!!! Even better than before The Theming looks Incredible. This is my favourite ride out of all of them at Alton Towers. We were walking through the car park at 0900 and heard the countdown! The queue at the main gate even then was really long so by the time we got to the back of the Nemesis queue it was 0945 and we started at Pizza & Pasta! Soooo long. We're still there smiling in your video around the 30 minute mark though haha. Later on in the evening we got some luck back though by deciding to jump on Smiler when it was at 55mins, but there was NO ONE in the ride queue until you got inside so we were on in about 8 mins!! No idea why, we couldn't believe our luck haha. People queuing in the fast track we looking at us and weren't happy 😄

Now that Nemisis Reborn is reopened and has been heavily themed with the new eye, the queue line being themed with various pieces and also the area forbidden valley itself. And we know that hyperia is not going to be as heavily themed but more styled as sorts. Do you think that Hyperia is going to feel a little bare in comparison? Is it a case of Thorpe park are hoping that the ride itself will deliver and not need as much theming?

Hope you guys had an amazing weekend. My only criticisms of the day was on the plaza,there were understandably no back checks as there were thousands of people but they opened one shutter and people started running so everyone was bunched up at the other closed shutters wich could have been a disaster but thankfully wasn't! Like you say in your vlog,they really need to manage this better,I think the should have softbopend the turnstiles earlier. And my only criticism of Nemmy herself is they've taken away the front row Q wich is unlikely to be back in its old format as that line is now taken over by thening. Other than that,awsome day!!

Yeah nemesis is in forbidden valley, so you need to head past curse to get to it. The best option would be the path through wickerman and then follow the hollow to forbidden valley.

Enjoy your vlogs very much. None more than this one. I rode the original Nemesis in 1994. Before that, I have fond memories of Alton Towers & my many visits throughout the 1980s & 90s. Particularly remember riding Thunder Looper with my late brother. Our favourite ride back then. Just turned 66 & have heart problems now, so my days on rides are sadly over.
