Because you have to get the "First Strike" to activate First Strike. If you dont deal the first damage, it goes bye bye

Yo nemesis, how do you not instantly tilt when your teammates random shove your wave and take cs? You're up 1-0 and it's a tough lane to get cs. Yoo Neme great game, don't want to backseat, but you miss lots of damage by not using your W as auto-attack reset, especially in early game.
