NEMO Firmware for M5Stick C Plus

I just released NEMO v1.2.0 on my GitHub and in the M5Burner app repository. Most of the info and links to the hardware can be found on my blog www.h-i-r.net
This was mostly capstone project for me to learn ESP32 programming, but I was inspired by a lot of the trending wireless pranks going around this summer. none of this stuff can be used to "hack" anything but you can shut off annoying, loud TVs in public areas and get a chuckle out of bystanders who see strange wifi networks and iPhone pop-ups.

I'm mostly focused on wireless, IR and bluetooth shenanigans. If you check out M5Burner, there are a few fun games for the M5Stick that you can download and install for free. "Eat The Dot" uses the accelerometer and there's a port of the running t-rex game from Google Chrome, both of which you might get a kick out of.

@@outdoorsWHofficial I just released NEMO 1.4.0 yesterday, which adds Wi-Fi scanning. I've got some other tricks in the pipeline but then will all require a lot of effort so progress will slow down a bit until my winter vacation starts in December, probably.

Suggestion: Add full rfid/nfc tag clone, read and write capabilitys to use with an rfid hat like the flipper zero! (This is a verry cool software btw! My m5stick is coming soon!)

I just released a new version with WiFi SSID Scanner functionality. I have received a lot of requests for deauthentication, but that's a bit of a touchy subject with the FCC here in the US. I have some ideas, but it mostly comes down to free time and the amount of space I have. I've also been throwing a considerable amount of effort at helping Koko's ESP32 Marauder project, specifically around support for this M5Stick C Plus hardware.

I bought a big pile of IR LEDs and I've experimented with a few of them plugged into the GPIO ports on the front. It doesn't seem to increase the range by much at all. I'll keep trying to figure something out. It works on my projector from 5 meters away, my living room TV I have to be within 2 meters or so. At a retail store, I tried turning off a whole wall of TVs with mixed results.

I just downloaded this on the StickC Plus2, and i love it so far. I can't seem to get the apple and android bluetooth spams to work though. And is there any way to increase the range of the wifi spam, i only seem to get about 5 feet.

O NEMO é muito bom, eu recomendaria pesquisar sobre o Marauder ele é bom também. Provavelmente deve dar de instalar o NEMO no m5stick

@@raff8739 finalmente o meu chegou e eu estou fascinado com as coisinhas que este gadget e capar de realizar. Consegui instalar o marauder nele e funcionou tudo nele só preciso ajustar bem a resolução da imagem pois não está totalmente otimizado neste ponto, porém o NEMO que foi o que me fez adquirir este equipamento infelizmente eu não consegui fazer a parte do wi-fi funcionar, a única parte que funciona e o Scan. Tirando isso este e um ótimo equipamento para entusiastas no universo de Hacking

I have not included deauthentication attacks on NEMO. That feature has more potential for abuse and chaos than the pranks I included, so I won't likely ever add it. There are dozens of microcontroller and pi zero projects to pick if you want to deauth. I am trying to contribute to the M5Stick port of ESP32 Marauder, which can do it, but it doesn't work well on the M5Stick right now.

It won't work directly on that board without a lot of additional code. I'm using a lot of the M5Stack library functiona for buttons and display.

Wifi spamming range is pretty good, maybe 100 feet. AppleJuice is a lot less, you need to be pretty close since Apple patched it, maybe 10 feet. IR range varies wildly on how sensitive the receiving device is. I have to be within 10 feet of my living room TV but my Samsung projector picks it up over 30 feet away.
