That style should be called Nemophila! I’ve been listening to Metal since the 1960’s and the one thing I can say with certainty is Japan fuses all types. Every band I listen to has a different sound, yet all of them mix (fuse) different genres in an album, or simply a song. This group has a very bright future ahead. Actually one of my top two. ❤️🌸

Our lovely talented ladies of Nemophila hail from Japan. Such a shame that they (and many others) don't get full recognition of how good they are. I am hoping they can tour overseas again. The Koalas are calling.....

Love this song, it is in my top 3 of theirs. They just keep getting better, nothing is going to slow these ladies down.

One of the best all female band outta Japan. Mayu is incredible she’s the best IMO. Nemophila forever 🤘👊🤘

Released about a month ago, it's their first single since Saki leaving and no surprise it's a banger!. On first listen the rapid variety of extremes had my head spinning a bit, but, after leaving the keyboard briefly, my brain was totally soaking in that beautiful clean chorus and suddenly the whole thing made perfect sense. Every little bit of it! Yet another winner from my favourite band! They've since dropped another single, "Progress", a couple of weeks ago so you might be interested to check that one out. Meanwhile, despite a brief scare with Mayu having a nasty throat issue, they've been extremely busy playing here, there, and everywhere! Wish I had their stamina!

It’s NEMOPHILA (“neh-mo-fee-la”) style. The whole point of listening to these Japanese bands is that they sound different. Then everyone wants to assign them to some pre-existing genre. Stop it. Listen to 20 NEMOPHILA songs, and you are likely to hear 20 different styles.
