Nemophila - "baby blue eyes" flower, "Rurikarakusa" in Japanese; grows in N-America and is appreciated in Japan (see "Hitachi Seaside Park"). The band was formed in 2019, originally as a "session" brought together by... Mayu - the vocalist (ex- Lipstick band); Haraguchi-san - (ex- HöLDERLINS band) bass, backing vocals, was Mayu's friend and colleague from Music College; Tamu Murata - drums, backing vocals, one the most respected session musician in Japan (countless bands), with also her own original carrier; she's also the wife of Akira Yamaoka, musician/composer, known especially for his videogames OSTs, in particular for "Silent Hill"; Saki (ex - "Mary's Blood" band for a decade, "Destrose", and others), she's a "young sacred monster" in J-metal) guitar, backing vocals. Hazuki (KOIAI "Dark Indigo" / Li-sa-X, Disqualia bands) - guitar, backing vocals; both, Saki and Hazuki have a lot of experience. Nemophila made an amazing fandom impression during the pandemic, thru KZbin clips... ...so far about 50 Western/Japanese awesomely bonkers covers, and about 40 original, freakishly insane good songs (singles, EPs - including the JPURecords' Extended Edition of "Oiran", 3 albums - "Revive", "Seize The Faith", "Evolve"). On March 31, it was announced that Saki had left Nemophila due to "differences in direction" and that the band would continue as a four-piece. Unfortunately Saki left this band this year, it's make me sad

They are all excellent musicians. And nemophila is a very unique and diverse band, with various genres of music appearing in their catalog. I recommend《G.O.D.》 as the next!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻

Most promising metalband out there. They play whatever they wanna play and killed it. They have it all..Passion 🔥 Work 💪 Heart ❤️ Talent 🤘 Magical band 🔥❤️ They are even better live. Now as a 4 piece band they are even heavier. Their liveconcerts are absolute hellfest. Lovin Nemophila ❤️

My favorite band...any origin, any genre. This ultra-versatile metal band has incredible chemistry (which hasn't declined a bit subsequent to guitarist Saki leaving and their becoming a quartet) and their live performances are "in the presence of greatness" moments. Elite-level musicianship at all positions, too. I strongly recommend their latest (and first new music release since the lineup change): "G.O.D." It's a complex, gritty track with change-ups aplenty, next-level vocal performance from Mayu (who wrote it), and a great demonstration of why Tamu Murata is one of the best drummers in metal. One of their very best. I've followed this band more-or-less from their beginning. I've seen them four times (twice in the US, including their legendary overseas debut at Whisky a Go Go in LA and twice since I moved to Japan). Seeing them again next month. They are _magical_ live.

Great songs that show the softer side of Nemophila. 'Ama-Te-Ras' is a quite unique 'groovy metal' song and one of their best as well

I’ve been following Nemophila since they started dropping singles, well before their first album release. I guess that means early to mid 2020? My memory isn’t what it used to be. I attended three of their US concerts in March 2023 and needed more. When they announced a performance at the famed Nippon Budokan in February 2024, I immediately purchased my airfare. You have a lot of suggestions and the band is quite diverse. You’ll enjoy any song you choose; trust me. ❤️🌸

Hi, I see that you have already reacted to Lovebites and BAND-MAID, even though some more videos from Lovebites might be a good idea. Then, you also have Hanabie and The Warning to look forward to. You can start with the collaboration between BAND-MAID and The Warning, called Show Them, and then you can take almost anything from The Warning, but why not Disciple from Teatro Metroplitan CDMX. And then take it from there, mostly live footage. For Hanabie it is never wrong to start with "We love sweets" music video. And then take it from there, mostly music videos.
