Nendrum Monastic Site From Above

Nendrum is thought to have been set up by St Machaoi in the 5th Century and also has links to St Patrick in later sources. The monastery consists of 3 round dry stone walled enclosures, one within the other. There is evidence of industrial works in the outer enclosure; a central enclosure with a church ruin and sundial, the remains of a round tower and a graveyard. The middle enclosure has the remains of huts and workshops. It is thought to be the best example of a pre-Norman monastic site in Northern Ireland.
The canonical sundial now seen at one corner of the ruined church was reconstructed from fragments found during the excavation of the site in 1924 and has been dated to about the year 900. It is one of only a few early medieval sun-dials known to exist. 1:40
Dendrochronology has dated a tide mill on the island to the year 619, making this the oldest excavated tide mill anywhere in the world. 0:00

Yes bit of a nightmare, had to upgrade my laptops to handle it when went 4k with the gopros, still could do with a bit more juice as takes ages to render the video at the end

I have never been there. (I'm not entirely sure how to get there) But I would love to because I heard there is a geocash there that I would love to find.

I haven't been geocashing in SO long. There was one my dad and me were never able to find. It was up Saint Patrick's mountain. (You posted a video of that area to.) We tried so hard to find that one but never did. My dad kinda gave up Geocashing, but I convinced my friend to help me look. Who knows, maybe, I'll get it one day?
