This set is the perfect example of how both kazuya and devil jin movement can apply pressure in a way that most character move sets just can not. Just look at how the wavedashes used here causes the opponent to pause in anticipation instead of punishing or launching into a full combo and everytime another wave dash is faked it adds another layer constantly keeping the opponent in a constant state of "doni attempt to punish? Should I block low? Maybe sidestep?". I know I'm going on a bit here but everytime I watch this set it gives me goosebumps. Genuine top tier tekken and I will probably never be able to play at the level no matter how hard I practice

Kazuya normally doesnt place high on tourneys because he is weak against characters with great pokes and rush down such as steve, kazumi, and geese etc. Kazuya requires spacing so if kazuya gets backed into a wall, its hard to retaliate because once the opponent gets plus on frames, kazuya doesnt have a lot of options or panic moves to get him out. You need hard reads and great defense or throw breaking abilities to get out. Devil Jin has a plethora of safe mids that kazuya doesnt have and a better 50/50 off of wave dash mix up. If you are gonna main kazuya, you need have decent knowledge of other characters match up and frame data. Kazuya has probably the best punishment in the game but his lack of quick safe mids is his downfall.

I fought against NeNe back in TekkenTag2, in the TXT held in Paraguay. He played the team of Kazuya and Devil Jin, meaning he realy knows DJ. But also I want to say, I truly feel he is a better player than Abel del Maestro (the top Peruvian player) I do believe NeNe is the actual top Peruvian player, he is a beast.
