Harris Jayaraj , IMO should be 1000's times Oscar winner, i am not even Tamil, but love his music. His BGM's are extraordinary! The Tamilians has best Directors, Musicians, Singers and not exaggerating, i have heard, Tamil movie industry really gives break for talented, for example, Vikram ( "I" actor), he was in Telugu decades ago and no one knows about him, but as soon as he shifted to Tamil industry, well, the history shows how talented he is! hatsoff Tamil industry!
