It's crazy that this somewhat shrill, forgettable soundtrack with absolutely no drums was composed by Naoki Kodaka, who later went on to score games like Blaster Master and Batman, then pioneering the "Sunsoft bass" sound with Fester's Quest and Journey to Silius. There is absolutely nothing in his early work to predict how stellar and iconic a composer he would later become.

I always found a weird charm to these games, the layouts are basic, the characters and enemies have no outlines, it's a bit bizarre but it's somewhat endearing. It sucks though that the way to the crucial path of the game is both obscure and not hinted at, from jumping into random bottomless pits to bombing random spaces, not blocks, but spaces, in the middle of thin air. It's kinda like Super Pitfall in that aspect, and that is just not good.

@@otakuatarigamer This game sucks because of the reason that it was a bad game during its time in the 80's. I played this as a kid. Yes I am not as good as this player but I managed to get far as a 3 year old kid playing game. I also knew some secrets that my uncles showed me. For an action platformer game this is not one of the popular platformers for the Family Computer. I am rating the game for what it is not because of lack of skill as a player.
