So basically with Neo's semblance, she could become a "god" (in a sense) in the Ever After. Able to create, distort, and possibly destroy within this strange realm. That's really terrifying to think about since in her story from Roman Holiday, she held no restraint in destroying her family. With Ruby alive, she may form an army of creatures as shown in the trailer to kill her and anyone allied with her

I also think all six of them will learn what it means to create, to destroy, to learn about the world they live in, and to to choose between salvation and destruction. They could use that knowledge to save their world, and it's also a nice callback to volume 4.

I really hope CRWBY doesn’t pull an Adam and has Neo go on a madness rampage. If that happens, I fear she gonna meet the same fate. AND IF THAT HAPPENS, I AND MOST OF THE FANDOM WILL PROBABLY RIOT. It would also be a total waste of her character especially when you consider that fact that unless you read Roman Holiday, you won’t know her backstory. The clip of Ruby crying and making it rain as well as her efforts to "keep moving forward" only to wind up in the same spot again and again make me think of the Spirit World from Avatar: the last air bender and Legend of Korra. A place where the world sorta reflects your current state of being to a certain degree, even more so for Neo I'd imagine considering her semblance.

Perhaps, after the Remnant experiment failed, the gods decided to create a new world, the Ever After? Essentially, another experiment? It would be very interesting if the gods are actually residing here at the center of that tree, and the appearance of humans from Remnant would likely catch their attention when they see them. The creepy masked dude from the trailer looks suspiciously like a god of darkness follower if you ask me. Just a theory, but one can just imagine.

So what I got out of this is; if the world amps their semblances, then: - Yang might become a walking sun/powerplant that only gets stronger - Blake would be able to use shadow clone jutsu with persistent, active clones - Ruby could possibly become a world killer or mass teleporter - Weiss could copy Salem's Grimm crafting ability without the need of a pool - and Jaune might actually be able to resurrect people

One idea I had is what if rather then having an aura or the ability to use dust within them. They can take from the world around them directly and that how they use aura there. Its not something they and can use awaken on their own through emotional time or something. It could be this different method of using aura that could allow Ruby and the others to strengthen their own abilities or possibly even able to use aura and/or dust in a manner similar to magic. However it could cause problem because the Ever After method of using aura requires training of a certain kind which not even Salem could have known about or even thought was possible cause she never thought in that manner. So the method they are used to would be the least effective and most dangerous method requiring training which would refine their abilities and allow them realize that they can do so much more then they original thought as this could be where they learn how to truly harm Salem. If there is nothing and no one from Remnant that can harm Salem truly. Then the answer would be to get someone that is not from Remnant to teach you what you need to know or learn from being in a realm is not your own. As it possible the reason no attacks seem to work on Salem is not because they are not working but because they are not being used properly and in the most effective manner. Not showing them using their Semblances yet could be because in this volume this is where they will learn an another way of using them that opens up doors they never knew exist because no one ever thought to ask the question. If you do not know to ask the question than you can never get the answers. Though off topic this is why Ozma has not beaten Salem yet because Jinn knows how to destroy Salem for good however she did not tell him when he asked because rather than asking something along the lines of "How can Salem be destroy". He assumed that when he asked "How can I beat Salem" she would realize what he meant yet she answered his question as asked not as intended. Omza mostly likely can not beat Salem that why she replied "YOU can not" not something like "Its is not possible" if that were truly the case. Thus why I think for this reason Jinn is the least trustworthy of the relics as she might have all the answers but will not give you want you want just the answers to your question as spoken. If you do not ask the perfect question to get everything you want then it most likely you will not get the answer you truly wanted

Would have been cool. RWBY having emotion turn to power. Adapting their semblances even further, which could rival Salem or just the maidens. Weiss becoming a summoner intensified, bringing forth armies or environmental things. Blake having shadows, copies and illusions, having maybe her shadow affect the area with more trees or whatever. Yang having some still anger, with earthquake abilities. Ruby having some intense winds, like what Volume 2 showed. With a speed that pressures anything around her. I miss that, and forgot that, until recently seeing it. It was epic. The battle in school, first episode of Volume 2.

Honestly we should consider a few extar things with this theory. While it does seem like they have an influence on this world, saying it is utterly dsiconnected might be inaccurate. While also based on wonderland, the world is divided into nine section much like Norse mythology. it is as much as cosmology as it is an afterlife with norse mythology, with the dead going t various areas depending on who they were in life and how they perished. Far as we know Little is in fact someone from the living world, like part of the afterlife in rwby is becoming something else in another world and returning to the living world again.

I think Roman got negative emotions because Neo got blown away, which was because of Ruby, so Ruby could be blamed for Roman's death, but also Cinder since she forced them to work for her, so them being there in the first place is Cinder's fault. (Or we could just blame Roman himself.)

While I get your theorycrafting I continue to question if Aura, and as a result of it, Semblance, are even functional in this world. The rule set has completely changed, so it’s not inconceivable that the character’s ability list will have to adapt as well. I’m still sticking to the belief that the characters physically died when they fell and now their souls, or essence, are trapped in this place until they can find a way to reincarnate themselves in their own world of Remnant, for lack of a better word. Another thing to consider regarding the application of Aura: we know for a fact four of the six characters had broken their Aura prior to falling. Ruby, Weiss, Yang, and Jaune all took mortal blows that took down their Aura. The two characters in question at this point are Blake and Neo. Do they still have Aura, does it even regenerate now we’re outside of Remnant, or will the fact that the majority of our cast lost their Aura have even further reaching consequences than originally thought? Stuff to chew on! No pun intended.

That is an excellent observation! I didn't even consider the possibility that since some characters had their aura broken and others didn't that only some of them might be able to use their semblances. Characters abilities could work differently in this world too but I don't think they'd change too much since the abilities of semblance are supposed to be a reflection of the individual's soul. The reincarnation idea is really interesting! That would add an extra layer to the volume to explore the concept of mortality and the meaning of life/death. Unfortunately I think it would take a bit too long to explain everything going on if that were the case. We have been told that Volume 9 is going to be a bit of a shorter Volume so they may not have the time to delve into those topics along with finding one's purpose and exploring this new world/finding a way home.

It's unlikely but It might be possible, though it won't be in the same way that Humanity once had it on Remnant. Humanity used to have magic as a power within themselves, like Salem does now. RWBY, Jaune and Neo will not just have magic out of nowhere upon entering a new world but if this world has magic within it, then maybe their semblances will allow them to manipulate it.

I'm still firmly of the mind that Neo will not survive that place, either she'll be killed by team RWBY or fall victim to her own inner-darkness in some way. I know a lot of people hope for redemption, but I just don't see her overcoming her hatred and rage. Hell even before Roman died, Neo wasn't exactly sane or well adjusted, and now she's gone so far off the rails that I doubt there's any turning back. It'll be kill or be killed for the heroes, thus Neo is probably gonna get the Adam treatment (It'd be more of a mercy killing in her case, ending her suffering) the only difference being Neo's madness fueled actions having potentially disastrous consequences in this strange new world.

One, if they want to bring Roman back even for a time this could be how Also a Idea I had, could the magic in Remnant be deteriorating? The idea doesn't really have bases on anything but could it be, Ozpin and maybe even Salems magic will fade right, so maybe after every semblance fades away (you know through death and means like that) then does the Remnant of magic that People have also fade away or does it replenish itself? If so, then could the previous generation's of people in remnant have greater and grander semblances than the generation we follow? And it is like a candle running out of wax? I guess I'm thinking something like Lord of the Rings, the Magic, the Wonder of the world was fading away from the world and when it does, LOTR's version of Ragnarok happens, the true dark lord is free from their prison, and they cause havoc till he is defeated and the world was made a new, atleast it is one way Tolkien saw it But I think it would be interesting to say the least, as all the things that made Remnant special get stripped away (the dust, Grimm and Remnant of magic) that we see what truly makes it special, the people ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, I'd be a cool what if atleast

Neo was already extremely powerful on her own on Remnant. But here? I’m completely agreeing with Phoenix here, if Ruby and the others can’t find a way to get through to Neo and find a way to get her to calm down…then it is very likely that Neo’s Semblance could very well destroy the Ever After, and anyone or anything living in it… but what if this place can amplify Semblances? We’ve already seen that they can change the weather based on emotion, but what if the same can be said for Semblances? Like Ren’s Semblance evolving during V8, what if the same holds true in the Ever After, but at an accelerated rate?

Mainly semblance since it is the remnant of magic but it might be due to Aura as well since it is used to power a semblance and aura may also be a remnant of magic as well but we don't have evidence of that yet. I mainly say that because we have been told that every living creature on remnant including animals have aura but only Humans and Faunus have semblance but we will have to wait and see. It could be due to Aura alone though

I do have to agree with you that Jaune does have those Shonen character qualities. Going from Zero to Hero as we see him getting stronger throughout the series and with his semblance growing, he will likely become someone stronger than most other Huntsman though I doubt he will ever get stronger than the maidens. It is an interesting idea but I don't think Jaune will be the true main character of the story either. Team RWBY is established as the core cast and was what Monty built the show around but I could see Jaune becoming a 5th main character which he technically could start being in Volume 9 with so few people in the Ever After

It went from Brown to Pink. In Roman Holiday it is discovered that that Neo the one we know used to go by another name" Trivia Vanille " who had brown hair and she had a alter ego named "Neo" that had pink hair. After Trivia's mother smashed the image of Neo, Trivia woke up with her hair half pink showing that Neo had became part of her physical form allowing Trivia to become more outgoing like her alter ego Neo. From what the trailer showed the brown part of Neo's hair is going to turn completely pink. Which means the alter ego Neo will now take over completely and there will no longer be a remnant of Trivia(brown hair disappearing). Just the theory I was thinking of when I was watching your video. This "Ever after" world is a rip off of Avatar's Spirit World. In legend of Korra the weather and environment changed when Korra was upset. There is also a huge continuity issue already. If Ruby's emotions can influence the weather here for as far as we can see, then the others must be influencing too right? Or am I supposed to believe that only Ruby is upset right now? They all arrived within 10 minutes of each other and presumably fairly close to each other. Perhaps not within ear shot of each other , but at least within the same few square miles.
