Ok can you post up a video showing the differences in the ventilator, Vent II, Mini and Micro versions? It would be good to know main differences, so we can know which one to buy..All I can see so far is some are smaller than others for a pedal board.. but do the small ones do all the exact same stuff as the larger ones or what
@vladaface1 Жыл бұрын
That is đy biggest question i have , even for the Neo Instruments : why mini amd micro exist and is there a difference👍

What's easier to use, this, or a Strymon Lex?? They both sound great to me; very hard choice, you know?? Awesome, inspiring playing, good sir, as always. :)
@SohamBhattacharya31056 жыл бұрын
oddfellowfloyd Lex is probably easiest to use on the fly. But the Vent beats the Lex on tone hands down.
@tieukhavu88324 жыл бұрын
I gave the strymon lex an audio example. And God. It's sounds uncreamy, unmeaty and unwarm. It has nothing to do with the typical valve / tube Leslie. Either 122 or 147.

how do you connect to a keyboard other than a Hammond, and will the style drums bass did- you have to use the vent standalone am I right

When you played the intro descending lick to "Michelle," I thought it was going to be "1921" by The Who - "I had no reason to be over optimistic..." Same progression.
@popintothechemist8 жыл бұрын
I need to arrange some Who. Beatles are easy for me to arrange because the melodies are so strong.
@ewoh244 жыл бұрын
Mike Hermans Very much agree on the ease of arranging Beatles for solo guitar. I’ve worked out and perform all of Sgt. Pepper on solo guitar and it’s like it was written specifically for that! Everything falls together so nicely on the fretboard.
@tieukhavu88324 жыл бұрын
@@ewoh24 Michelle has also a great Jazz influence as well
@ewoh244 жыл бұрын
Tieu Kha Vu Very true. It plays very much like some sort of jazz standard. McCartney likes to tell the story of how Blackbird came from “trying to play Bach on the guitar” when he and Harrison were younger. Those Beatles guys! Nipped from everyone :)
@tieukhavu88324 жыл бұрын
@@ewoh24 They later used the Leslie speaker alot in songs like "While my Guitar Gently Weeps" or "Don't pass me By".

Prob the slides out. Or you have to unscrew all the shittt in the back where the cables plug in.

How does it compare to the H&K Rotosphere?
@popintothechemist8 жыл бұрын
I've never tried that one but I've heard good things!
@brucereed41456 жыл бұрын
The Rotosphere absolutely nails the Leslie sound, think "Badge." It is not as versatile, naturally.
@z.s43716 жыл бұрын
Bruce Reed I'm not disagreeing with you but how is the H&K less versatile?
@brucereed41456 жыл бұрын
I didn't mean anything by that. I love my Rotosphere, and it seems the Neo Vent does different things

How does this sound going into a distorted amp on slow?
@jessegriggs28104 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't do that. Its simulating a speaker cabinet. therefore the amp would come before this effect. So you would want to either play it into the front of a clean amp, or put it in the effects loop of a dirty amp. Putting it in front of the distortion is more of a univibe/phaser move.
@utsavgurung62834 жыл бұрын
Works fine! Cab simulation is optional
