If your bhops are “sticking” to the ground, make sure you aren’t playing on 144fps. There is a bug with bhopping on that framerate, cap your fps to 140 using the steam launch options.

best tutorial, grinded for 1 hour in the range and found it easy to just learn to keep speed first as its basically just bhopping like in cs. Can just hold one direction with that and it's super natural. Then i started adding redirects and could keep the speed going forwards and zig zagging but still struggled on backward redirecting. Came back to watch and then slowed down my movement and it turns out i was hitting the keyboard inputs way too fast along with bad scroll up timing and that was killing my momentum for backward ones. So if anyone else is going forward fine but not back then try slowing down the time between inputs. Also worth noting that look angle is part of what keeps and gains you momentum as well as this is quake based engine strafe, which is why circling opponents is ridiculously op as you actually gain some momentum due to tracking smoothness perfectly aligning with strafe angle. Another tip for people struggling is to make sure you jump before you press your redirection buttons. You may be losing momentum cause you only gain lurch for 0.4 seconds after you hit jump. if you misstime your redirects and press the keys while on the ground still you will lose that lurch momentum as it won't register while on ground

im still struggling in keeping the momentum, still dont know when and when not to scroll up to strafe, and that what makes me not be able or understand how to change direction, even with the practice movement where u circle around like in the video, i cant go so for long, any tips? ohh yea, the reason is why i cant do it for long bcs after long circle, the character stop to jump even when i scroll down the wheel, i hope u can help me
