Neoca 2S (Part 2)

First thank you for another very inspiring and informative video! Personally I like your images with the neoca very much, with the 5th image of the first series as a favorite! I hope you can fix the problem with the shutter. Tension of the gears might be a problem here. I successfully repaired some cameras with cloth shutters, but a neoca with lens shutter I never owned. Thickness of Film might be the problem, but if the shutter runs fine without film there must be some kind of coupling to the shutter from the spools inside. Maybe you can check this, I will try to find information about the neoca. The Voigtländer Vito had a coupling with the film advance to the shutter, maybe the neoca as well. I just had my first roll from my Neoca 2S developed. First off, shortly after buying, the shutter stopped working, and at 3x the price I bought if for, I had it serviced and repaired. My copy's focus block is horribly feint, so really really tough to focus. However, most my images, I am glad to report, are tack sharp. Living is sunny South Africa, shooting T-Max 400, I was forced to hang around 1/300sec at F16, so camera shake was a minimum, and depth of field maximised. I think you make a great point about film slack (stiffness), because either I accidently held the rewind button in a couple of times as I wind on, or the camera struggles to roll up the film as it advances, for the latter part of the roll was partially double exposed, with images overlapping by about a 1/4.... but not all frames, which is weird. I am making a video of my findings soon, with samples of my images. I think you got a couple really smart images, I wouldn't complain at all!
